If the Worm-Infested Zombie takes fire damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of the Worm-Infested Zombie's next turn. The Worm-Infested Zombie only dies when it is at 0 hit points and doesn't regenerate. > >**Fear Aura:** This trait functions like the Fear spell, but in a 20ft radius. A creature that succeeds the save is immune to the effect for 24 hours. > >**Parasitic Worms (Disease):** Any creature hit by a Worm-Infested Zombie's slam attack must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution Save or take 1d6 Strength Ability Score Damage and 1d4 Wisdom Ability Score Damage during their next long rest. The damage can be restored by spells like lesser restoration. > >**Curative Transformation:** If spells like lesser restoration or remove curse are cast on the Worm-Infested Zombie, it becomes a normal zombie. > >**Turn Resistance:** The Worm-Infested Zombie has advantage against Turn Undead effects. > > ___ > ### Actions >**Multiattack:** The Worm-Infested Zombie makes two Claw attacks, or one Claw attack and one Slam attack > >**Slam:** +6 to hit, 5ft, one target, 1d6 +4 Bludgeoning > >**Claw:** +6 to hit, 5ft, one target, 1d8 +4 Slashing >___ >### Reactions >**Infest:** As a reaction, when the Worm-Infested Zombie hits a humanoid with its Slam attack, it can transfer a worm from itself to the opponent. Each worm has AC 10 and 1 HP. On the Worm-Infested Zombie's next turn, the worm burrows into the host's flesh. Then for 1d4 +1 rounds the worm makes its way to the host's brain, doing 1 damage at the start of the host's turn, until it reaches the brain. Once the worm reaches the brain, it does 1d4 -1 Intelligence Ability Score Damage until the Host dies (at 0 intelligence) or the worm is killed. A humanoid of Large Size or smaller becomes a Worm-Infested Zombie after 1d4 + 4 rounds. While the worm is inside a host, it can only be killed by casting remove curse or lesser restoration (or similar spells) on the host. The worm can also be removed by a DC 16 Medicine Check. ___
