Variant - Bonded Gryph-Hound

If a gryph hound is reared and trained it can bond with the individual that raised and trained it, this process can take up to a year and relies on the situations its put on, the trainers animal handling and time spent with the gryph hound. However if this process is completed it allows for the 2 to function as a team more effictively.

If both the gryph-hound and the bonded individual both attack the same target with a melee attack they both gain advantage on their first attacks against that target.

The gryph-hound may also be used to concentrate on one spell that the bonded individual has cast as long as it is within 30ft. If the gryph-hound moves more than 30ft away the spells effects end immediately.
