# Succubus/Incubus A fiendish entity who's alluring nature is second only to their deadliness. Generally found in the lower planes this race thrives though manipulation and conquest through their charismatic personality and beguiling nature. ### Succubus/Incubus Traits * **Ability Scores**: +2 Cha; +1 Dex * **Age:** Succubus mature at the same rate as humans though tend to live for a number of indeterminate centuries as long as they continue to feast on souls periodically. * **Alignment:** Succubus tend to be seen as creatures of carnal and chaotic nature; however even they live with a strict set of rules when it comes to collecting souls. As such many tend to fall into the category of Lawful Evil or Neutral Evil; however exceptions do exist within the race itself. * **Size:** Succubus have about the same size and build as humans. Your size is Medium. * **Speed:** Your base walking speed is 30 feet. * **Darkvision:** Thanks to your fiendish heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. * **One And The Same:** Though considered separate entities the succubus and Incubus are one and the same. At will you can change your form as an action from Succubus to Incubus and vice versa. You still retain distinguishing features such as: Hair color, skin color, tattoos, blemishes, and eye color. Your equipment do not change morphing into this alternative form. All your statistics remain the same. A creature can attempt to see pass this disguise though with a DC 15 Wisdom (Perception) check. * **Charming defense:** When you aren't wearing armor, your AC is 10 + your Charisma modifier. You can't be wielding a shield to gain the benefits of this trait. * **Charming Influence:** Some fiends enjoy manipulating their prey; while others prefer to seduce them into an early grave. You gain proficiency in your choice of either the persuasion or deception skill. \columnbreak > ##### DM Tip (Variant Rule) > When it comes to the Succubus and Incubus they require souls to maintain their life force though the time frame they can survive with each soul varies and can be from 1 week to several decade. This choice is up to the DMs discretion. When the Succubus or Incubus drops to zero hit points the soul is forfeited and the fiendish creature must gain a new one within an alloted time chosen by the DM or start accruing exhaustion points. * **Devilish Appearance:** Fiends are known for their warped visage and you are no different. as a bonus action you can sprout bat-like wings to gain a fly speed of 40 feet. It takes a bonus action to sheath them again. You can't sprout wings while wearing armor. Additionally, you also have a set of claws. As an action, you can take a swipe at your enemies and deal 1d4 slashing damage + your Strength modifier. You are consider proficient with this unarmed strike. * **Draining Kiss:** Once you reach 3rd level, You can kiss a creature charmed by you or a willing creature as an action. The target must make a Constitution saving throw against this magic, or take Psychic damage equal to 2d10 + your level. , or half as much damage on a successful one. If the target is a construct or undead this trait has no effect. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus. The target's hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0. Until the start of your next turn you are considered *restrained*. After you use your draining kiss, you can't use it again until you complete a long rest. * **Languages:** You can speak, read, and write Common, Abyssal, and Infernal.
\pagebreak ## Feats A handful of optional, additional feats that can be used to customize or spruce up your Succubus or Incubus. ### Alluring Legacy *prerequisites: Succubus or Incubus* You have inherited the innate spellcasting ability of your race. You know the *Thaumaturgy* cantrip. You can cast the *Charm Person* and *Alter Self* spell once per long rest as a 2nd-level spell; you must finish a long rest in order to cast these spells again using this trait. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells. ### Plane Spawn *prerequisites: Succubus or Incubus* You were raised in the Outer Planes, such as the Nine Hells or The Abyss. You gain the following benefits: * Increase your Constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20. * You gain resistance to one of the following damage types of your choice: Fire, Poison, Lightning, or Cold. Once you choose one you cannot change it. * You know of a way to return to your home plane. Talk with your DM of what or where this portal may be. ### Femme Fatale (Homme Fatale) You are more then just a pretty face. You gain the following benefits: * Increase your Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20. * If you have no armor equipped, you may use your Charisma modifier in place of your Strength or Dexterity when making melee weapon attacks.
