The Elder Dragon

Bahamut, Tiamat, Niv-Mizzet, all beings of godlike powers and often even greater vanity. As such, they rarely deem a mortal worth of their power. In the rare occasions they seek out such an individual, whether for their amusement or to reach a goal they need lesser beings for, a creature of great might is created.

Expanded Spell List

The Elder Dragon lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Elder Dragon Expanded Spells
Spell Level Spells
1sd Identify, Absorb Elements
2nd Dragon's Breath, Alter Self
3rd Fly, Protection from Energy
4th Freedom of Movement, Polymorph
5th Control Winds, Dominate Person

Draconic Aspect

Starting at 1st level, you develop an innate connection to the elder draconic being granting you some of it's power. Select one dragon type from the Draconic Lineage table bellow.

Draconic Lineage
Dragon Damage Type
Black Acid
Blue Lightning
Brass Fire
Bronze Lightning
Copper Acid
Gold Fire
Green Poison
Red Fire
Silver Cold
White Cold

You gain resistance to your chosen lineages damage type. Furthermore, whenever you cast a warlock spell of 1st level or higher, you may substitute its damage type with the type of damage listed in your respective Draconic lineage.

Frightful Presence

Starting at 6th level, your shadow seems to loom over the entire battlefield. When you roll initiative, you may use your reaction to unleash a terrifying roar and select a number of creatures up to your Charisma modifier that can see and hear you. All targets must make a Wisdom saving throw against your warlock spell save DC, becoming frightened by you until the end of your next turn on a failed save.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Aethersight

By 10th level, you have been granted the ability to percept the world through the eyes of a dragon.

You gain blindsight within a range of 30ft.

Heart of the Wyrm

As you reach 14th level, you become a true manifestation of draconic power and wreath.

You may reroll any 1 you roll on a damage die associated with your Draconic Lineage damage type, but must use the new result. Additionally, you gain a number of legendary action equal to your Charisma modifier. Once per round, at the end of another creatures turn, you may use this action to cast a warlock cantrip or perform a single weapon attack.

You regain your legendary actions as you finish a long rest.

New Invocation: Eldritch Exhalation

Prerequisites: Elder Dragon patron, eldritch blast cantrip, 5th level

When you cast Eldritch Blast, you may choose to alter it's form into 15ft cone or 30ft line. If you do so, the damage type is changed to that of your Draconic Aspect class feature and all creatures within the range must make a Constitution (Cold and Poison) or Dexterity (Fire, Acid and Lightning) saving throw, or suffer the damage of your Eldritch Blast.

Targets who succesfully save take half the damage rolled.
