### School of Chromamancy Chromatic wizards see the world as their ever-changing color palette. Emotions are just a manifestation of the creature's soul changing color and portals to other dimensions are just the smears between two paintings to them. They yearn to study our world at its core: the color spectrum. Some chromatics might become world renowned artists who cherish in their success and some become mischievous tricksters messing with the emotions and feelings of others. ##### School of Cromamancy Features | Wizard Level |

| #### Lore of Colors Starting at 2nd level, when you reach certain levels in the class, you gain understanding of the colors around you. You may write down the spells shown in the Chromatic Spells table below into your spellbook without having to find them. Writing these spells down takes half the normal time and cost of copying a spell. These spells count as wizard spells for you. ##### Chromatic Spells | Wizard Level |

| #### Marvelous Paintbrush Additionally, at 2nd level you conjure a magical paintbrush that helps you shape the world as you please. You gain the ability to transform any object's color and pattern as you wish. For each 10 minutes you spend shifting its coloration, you can transform up to 1 cubic foot of material. Your handiwork slowly fades on non-living material after a day and on living material after an hour has passed. You may use this paintbrush as your spellcasting focus. #### Pigment of Gebleoth At 6th level, you discover that you can transform the arcane based on its colors. With this knowledge you can alter the color of your spells, thus changing their element. When you cast a spell with a spell slot and the spell deals acid, cold, fire, lightning, necrotic or radiant damage, you can substitute that damage type with one other type from that list. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier. You regain all uses of this feature after you finish a short or long rest.
#### Eyes of the Rainbow By 10th level your eyes become imbued with the magic of the color spectrum. You take in the colors of everything around you, even in pitch black conditions. You gain a special kind of darkvision out to a range of 60 feet. When in dim light you see everything in its original color, and in darkness you see everything in muted, grayish tone. If you already have darkvision from your race, its range increases by 30 feet and gains the effect mentioned above. #### Arcane Paint At 10th level you also gain the ability to splash a group of enemies with arcane paint, hindering their sight. As a bonus action on your turn you may summon and splatter arcane paint at targets within a 15-foot cone in front of you. The number of targets equals your Intelligence modifier. Doused enemies must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be blinded until the end of their turn. You regain the use of this ability after you finish a short or long rest. #### Gaudy Explosion When you reach 14th level, you master the elements of color within yourself and can turn this force into destructive energy. As an action on your turn, you can force the color out of your physical form. Roll 3d6. These numbers determine the types of damage you deal with this explosion. For the damage types, see the Explosion Type table below. All enemies within a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on you, must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, each creature takes 2d8 damage as per the rolled types or half as much on a successful one. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest. ##### Explosion Type | d6 |
