Otherworldly Patron | The Oracle
## Otherworldly Patron At 1st level, a warlock gains the Otherworldly Patron feature. Here is a new option for that feature: the Oracle.
### The Oracle You have made a pact with an entity who divined the end of the world, a harbinger of doom, and it has chosen you to be instrumental to averting this disaster. The end times are not always imminent however, but the events leading up to them are always in motion. Your role in the cosmic scheme may dwarf compared to other actors, yet no mission your patron sends you on to stop the coming disaster is in vain. All actions are essential to preventing total annihilation, foiling the rebirth of a primordial god as much as placing a note in the shelf of a library, and time is always of the essence. ##### Oracle Features | Warlock Level | Feature | |:--:|:--| | 1st | Expanded Spell List, Await Fate | | 6th | Fearless Pursuit | | 10th | Restless Pursuit | | 14th | Prophecy of Ruin | #### Expanded Spell List The Oracle lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you. ##### Oracle Expanded Spells | Spell Level | Spells | |:--:|:--| | 1st |
detect evil and good, sanctuary | | 2nd |
augury, lesser restoration | | 3rd |
haste, sending | | 4th |
divination, Otiluke's resilient sphere | | 5th |
dispel evil and good, greater restoration |
#### Await Fate At 1st level, your patron prepares you for the inevitable. You can cast *contingency* at will, without expending a spell slot or material components. When you do so, the spell lasts until you finish a short or long rest, and the contingent spell must be a warlock spell you know.
#### Fearless Pursuit Starting at 6th level, your patron leaves you no time to feel fear in the pursuit of your mission. Whenever you take the Dash action on your turn, you gain temporary hit points equal to 1d8 + your Charisma modifier, and you are immune to being frightened until the end of your next turn.
#### Restless Pursuit Beginning at 10th level, your patron leaves you no time to rest in the pursuit of your mission. You no longer need food or water, and you suffer no ill effects from exhaustion except death. \columnbreak
Additionally, whenever you expend a warlock spell slot, your speed increases by 5 feet. This benefit lasts until you finish a short or long rest.
#### Prophecy of Ruin Starting at 14th level, you can spend 10 minutes talking to a crowd of people, recounting a vision foretold by your patron. Once the prophecy concludes, choose a number of creatures within 60 feet of you who listened to all of it (which can include yourself), up to a number equal to your Warlock level. A target is unaffected if it doesn't understand your language. The first time a target is reduced to 0 hit points as a result of taking damage, it can use its reaction to take an action, before dying or falling unconscious. This effect ends on a target once it finishes a long rest, after which time it can benefit from this feature again.
