Deadeye
You refine your sharpshooting capabilities, becoming a virtuoso with a ranged weapon of your choice. Whether it's for sport, for pay, for the thrill, for their king, or for their fellow soldiers, Deadeyes take it upon themselves to become unparalleled in the field of marksmanship.
Able Sniper
When you enter this subclass at 3rd level, you become proficient in all ranged weapons. When you are wielding a ranged weapon, its normal and maximum ranges increase by 10 feet multiplied by half of your rogue level. Additionally, you gain darkvision out to 120 feet and you can use your bonus action to take the Search action.
Take Aim
Also at 3rd level, your patience and steadiness begins to show fruition. You can use your action to Take Aim against a target you can see. You must concentrate as if casting a spell to maintain the following effects of Take Aim:
- When you add your Dexterity modifier to the damage of an attack made with a ranged weapon, you can double your modifier to determine the damage dealt.
- The first time you hit a target with a ranged weapon attack after using your action to Take Aim, you automatically score a critical hit.
- You can use your bonus action to Take Aim on a new target.
- Your ranged attacks against the target ignore half cover.
- Being prone doesn't cause disadvantage on your ranged attacks with weapons that have the loading property.
While taking aim, you must use 3 feet of movement for every 1 foot you travel. If you take damage, are shoved, or knocked prone, your concentration is lost.
Eagle's Aerie
Starting at 9th level, you can spend 2 hours building a hideout that is indistinguishable from its surroundings. Until you make an attack, cast a spell, or make a sound, you automatically succeed on any stealth check you make within the hideout. After you make an attack, cast a spell, or make a sound, you have advantage on stealth checks made within the hideout. Once someone has spotted this hideout, you can no longer hide in it.

Observation
Also at 9th level, your eyes see all.
If you spend at least 10 minutes
observing or interacting with
another creature outside
combat, you can learn certain
information about it. Below
you will find six choices, of
which you can choose two.
You study the creature's physique, as well as any equipment on their person. The DM tells you if the creature is your equal, superior, or inferior in regard to the characteristics of your choice:
- Armor class
- Current hit points
- Constitution score
You note social cues and mannerisms. The answer given for the following three is up to the DM's discretion, but usually straightforward:
- Military, clan, tribe, guild, etc. rank (if any)
- Emotional state
- If they are aware of your observation
Reconnaissance
Starting at 13th level, your preparation prior to an operation becomes vital to its success. When you spend at least 8 hours researching paperwork, questioning residents, or observing details of a location up to 1 square mile in size, you gain advantage on Dexterity (Stealth), Intelligence (Investigation) and Wisdom (Perception) checks while within the area. The time required to gain these benefits must take place in a timespan no longer than a month. These benefits last an amount of days equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1 day).
Headshot
Upon reaching 17th level, you become an unparalleled dealer of death. When Take Aim gives you an automatic critical hit, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier) or suffer the maximum possible damage roll on your weapon die and sneak attack dice. If they succeed, only your weapon damage dice are maximized. Once you have used this feature on a creature, you cannot use it on the same creature for 24 hours.
