### The Quiet One

You have made a pact with a pacifist water diety. Your god or goddess lent you their power to protect the ones in need and help people see the peaceful side of the tides by controlling the very lifeblood of the realms: water.

The peace-loving nature of  your god has an influence on your emotions too. You become more careful not to hurt your foes if unnecessary, leading you on a path to aid, rather than harm.

#### Expanded Spell List
The Quiet One lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

#### Bonus Cantrips
At 1st level, you learn the *shape water and ray of frost* cantrips. They count as warlock cantrips for you, but they don’t count against your number of cantrips known.

Also at 1st level, you gain a connection to water based creatures. You can speak, read and write Aquan and you may communicate in a limited manner with the wildlife of waters. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return.

Additionally, your attunement to water allows you to fight better while submerged. You now have swimming speed equal to your walking speed and can breathe water. If you already have a swimming speed, it increases by 10 feet. Negative effects caused by fighting in water do not apply to you. -->

#### Cleansing Tide
Also at 1st level, you may aid an ally with a splash of purifying water. When you cast a spell using a spell slot, you may choose a creature within 10 feet of you. You immediately end one disease or condition on the creature.

The condition can be blinded, charmed, deafened, frightened or poisoned. After the effect ends on them, they are immune to that effect for the next hour.

When you reach 6th level you may add stunned, at 10th level paralyzed and at 14th level two levels of exhaustion to the list of conditions.

#### Blessing of the Waves 
Starting at 6th level, your patron aids you in battle. You gain resistance to cold damage and magical bludgeoning damage from water based evocation spells.

Additionally, you may use your reaction to grant one of these resistances to one friendly creature you can see within 15 feet of you until the end of your next turn. You may use this feature a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded down (minimum of 1). You regain the use of this feature after you finish a long rest.

#### Ebb and Flow
At 10th level, as an action, you may present your spellcasting focus, evoking the powers of the changing waves. A surge of spiritual water bursts out from your focus, healing those in need and harming those who seek to hurt you.

You may choose a number of creatures to be effected by the waves, equal to your warlock level in a 15-foot-radius sphere centered on you.

Revitalizing waters aid friendly creatures' injuries. You divide hitpoints equal to three times your warlock level between the chosen creatures to be healed by.

Raging tide crashes down upon your enemies. Chosen targets must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, they are pushed to the edge of the 15-foot-radius around you. On a successful save, the creature is only pushed back 5 feet.

You regain the use of this feature after finishing a long rest.

#### Aqueous Protector
Starting at 14th level, you reach the peak of your aquatic powers, gaining the ability to form a protective shield around your allies.

As a bonus action on your turn, you may conjure a sphere of warding water around a friendly creature within 15 feet of you. The shielding grants you immunity to fire damage and any ranged attacks against the target are made with disadvantage. The creature in the globe can breathe water for the duration. The bubble requires concentration as if you were concentrating on a spell and lasts for a number of turns equal to half your Charisma modifier rounded up.

You regain the use of this feature after you finish a short or long rest.
