### College of Roaring Thunder

College of the Roaring Thunder trains bards to enhance their voice with arcane magic through ancient traditions. Bards of this college call themselves voices of thunder. Properly trained voices of thunder gain access to an ancient weapon known as the Raijin Drums that can unleash destructive waves of force in the right hands. From the sound of music to the rumbling roll of thunder, a voice of thunder range of talents is impressive and filled with deadly power, with even its echoes full of supernatural qualities.

#### Blood and Thunder
At 3rd level, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you may expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to imbue the attack with thunderous power, dealing an extra 2d4 thunder damage to the target and forcing them to make a Strength saving throw or be pushed back 5 feet and get knocked prone.

The thunder damage and knockback distance increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 3d4 and 10 feet at 5th level, 5d4 and 15 feet at 10th level, and 8d4 and 20 feet at 15th level.

#### Voice of the Stormlord
Also at 3rd level, as you speak, you can augment your voice with the power of thunder.

You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill. If you are already proficient, your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses this skill. While talking, you may choose to amplify your voice as per the *thaumaturgy* cantrip's first effect.

Additionally, you may use an action to cause fear with your booming voice within your enemies. You target a number of creatures equal to 2 + your Charisma modifier within hearing range of you, must make a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of you for 1 minute. A creature automatically succeeds on the saving throw if it is deaf or cannot hear you by any other means. Effected creatures can repeat the saving throw at the end of their turns.

You regain the use of the second part of this feature after you finish a short or long rest.

#### Echoing Storm
Starting at 6th level, your enemies are met with the echoing consequences of facing you in battle. Whenever you cast a spell using your spell slots that deals thunder or lightning damage, you may roll one extra damage die.

Furthermore, when you cast a spell in this manner you may use your bonus action to cause effected enemies to become imbued with electric charge. At the start of their turn, said enemies have to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save they retake the damage you dealt to them with your spell last turn or half as much damage on a successful save.

You may use the second part of this feature a number of times equal to half your Charisma modifier rounded down (minimum of once). You regain all uses of this ability when you finish a long rest.

#### Drums of the Tempest
When reaching 14th level, you can conjure the legendary Raijin Drums, a destructive weapon only accessable by bards of this college. On your turn you can use a bonus action to summon these four drums. They float in your space in front of you harmlessly. On the next four turns you can use an action to play one of the drums, unleashing a wave of thunder and lightning in a 60 feet long, 10 feet wide line in front of you. All creatures caught in the radius are struck by lightning emanating from the drums, taking lightning and thunder damage equal to half your bard level and must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become stunned and deafened until the end of their next turn.

You regain the use of this feature when you finish a long rest.
