Archery Master

You have perfected the art of archery. Through your leaned skill and magical prowess, you are at home in large battle fields with plenty of room to set up your shots.

Focused Mind

Starting at 3rd level, you can focus your mind on your attacks to shoot with precision against the weak points of your foes. As a bonus action, you can enter a state of complete focus. Until the end of your turn, you gain the following benefits:

  • The normal range of your short bows and long bows increases by 30 feet.
  • The long range of your short bows and long bows increases by 120 feet.
  • Your ranged weapon attacks deal a bonus 1d6 damage of the weapons damage type. This damage increases to 2d6 at 9th level, and 3d6 at 13th level. If the target is one of your favored enemies, you instead use the highest number possible for each of these die.

You have three uses of this ability, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

Quick Mark

Starting at 3rd level, you learn the spell hunter's mark. If you already know this spell, you can instead learn 1 spell of your choice from the ranger spell list that is of a level you have spell slots for.

Additionally, once per turn, if the target of your hunter's mark spell drops to 0 hit points, you can mark a new creature without the use of a bonus action.

Rupture Shot

Starting at 7th level, you can infuse magic into your arrows. Before you make an attack with a short bow or long bow with a nonmagical arrow, you can expend a spell slot to split the arrow into multiple arrows. Make a separate attack roll for each arrow, on a hit they deal an extra 1d8 damage. A 1st-level spell slot creates 2 total arrows, 1 additional arrow is created for each spell level higher than 1st, up to a maximum of 5 arrows. For example, a 3rd-level spell slot would create 4 total arrows.

Double Shot

Starting at 11th level, once on each of your turns when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with a weapon attack, you can make one additional ranged weapon attack as part of the same action.

Quick Shot

Starting at 15th level, you are a master of not only shooting arrows, but dodging them as well. When you are hit by a ranged weapon attack, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by an amount equal to 1/2 of your ranger level, and immediately make one ranged weapon attack against the attacking creature.
