The target regains hit points equal to 2d8 + your spellcasting ability modifier, and must make a Constitution saving throw to resist unnatural bleeding. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d4 necrotic damage, and they take another 1d4 necrotic damage at the start of their next turn. This spell has no effect on constructs ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell with a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the healing is increased by 1d8, and the necrotic damage taken on a failed save is increased by 1d4, for every slot level above 1st.
