Spectral Boomerang
Ghosttouch(Ex), Magical

A seemingly simple wooden boomerang with intricate etchings of runes and symbols implying ghost-like apparitions. The Spectral Boomerang is much more than it appears, however, and was made from the wood of a type of tree which can treat incorporeal entities as if they were solid. Due to its nature, incorporeal entities may pick this up as if they were corporeal. Indeed, one could even attune to it, should he come to possess it.
Upon attunement, this boomerang begins to appear as if a blue smoke is drifting up off the wood when held by its owner.
Attunement: A character must spend 30 minutes a day meditating over the boomerang for seven consecutive days for the Spectral Boomerang to realign itself to that character's mind.
Unattuned: 1d4 Bludgeoning; +1 to ATK & DMG; Ghosttouch; Dexterity DC 12 to catch boomerang on its return.
Dormant: 1d4 Bludgeoning; +1 to ATK & DMG; 1d2 Psychic; Ghosttouch; 4 total charges, regaining 1d4 charges per day; spending 1 charge lets you perform a Spectral Throw. To do this, throw the boomerang up to full range increment, when thrown, the boomerang becomes incorporeal, passing through solid objects. All creatures(living and undead) in the Spectral Boomerang's path take 1d6 Psychic damage as it passes through them. The Spectral Boomerang takes a shimmering blue ethereal form as it does this.
Awakened: 1d6 Bludgeoning; +2 to ATK & DMG; 1d4+2 Psychic; Ghosttouch; 6 total charges regaining 1d4+1 charges per day; its Spectral form brightens and appears to have blue ghostly flames trailing its path. When using the Spectral Throw, once the Spectral Boomerang passes through an enemy, its owner may expend a charge to have it change direction to hit another valid target within its range increment. You may spend multiple charges to hit many enemies, but once all your charges are spent, the direction can no longer be changed. When the boomerang reaches the end of its range, it loops back to its owner as normal.
Exhalted: 1d6 Bludgeoning; +3 to ATK & DMG; 1d6+3 Psychic; Ghosttouch; 10 total charges regaining 1d4+2 charges per day; While holding the Spectral Boomerang, the wielder may expend charges to become ethereal, one round per charge, these are spent when initially using this ability and for every round thereafter. While in an ethereal form, all non-magic attacks to hit you have a 50% miss chance, and every time you attack an enemy, you deal an additional 1d6+3 points of Psychic damage. You may end your ethereal form early, and may start it up once again, but the overall of rounds cannot exceed the number of charges available for the Spectral Boomerang.
