Additionally, while it has 30 hit points or fewer, the gorefast can make one longsword attack as a bonus action on each of its turns.

ZED Time. If a creature scores a critical hit on an attack roll against the gorefast, that creature can either make one attack as a bonus action, or move up to half its speed before the end of its turn.

"More durable than first thought, the Gorefast is quick to anger and can take a deceptive amount of damage to bring down."

- Amalthalda, Paladin of Pelor, enemy of the undead.

With the appearance of a skinless humanoid, most gorefasts seem to be missing the lower half of their jaw, though the reason for this is unknown. It is speculated that this is so they are unable to injure their creators, though this seems unlikely since gorefasts have large blades attached to their right arm, that they slash expertly at their enemies.

Quick to enrage, the usually slow gorefast begins sprinting towards its enemies as soon as it is wounded, and as it comes closer to death, it will begin fighting harder.

Researchers believe that gorefasts retain some of the intelligence that they had in life, since not only do they fight harder as they get more injured in a way that cannot be attributed to a fight-or-flight response, but they have also been observed to move out the way of incoming projectiles.
