A displacer cub resembles a sleek, great cat covered in blue-black fur. Its otherworldly origins are clear in its six legs and the two tentacles sprouting from its shoulders, both ending in smooth pads. ***Smooth-born.*** Displacer Kittens do not yet have their sharp barbs on their tentacles, its mouth too tiny to pierce. Their instinct to kill does offer them to use their bulbs to batter opponents. ***Unlearned Displacement.*** Kittens, not being familiar with their ability, do not have as much control over it. As such, the young cubs do not necessarily control when their ability comes back. ***Student of the Kill.*** Elders and regular beasts have not only an innate closeness to sport hunting, but experience and were taught. Little displacers, however do not have the honed skills of hunting their parents and grandparents obtained. Cubs will therefore stay inside dens or, if the pride feels they are exceptionally ready, will be taken out to hunt small game, like calves or children. ***Prized Pets.*** Intelligent, evil creatures do not tempt the wrath of a mother or father of a displacer kitten. As such pets of these ferocious fey hardly exist. Only the most cunning or manipulative can take a cub away unscathed. Any who do so without the approval of the pride will be hunted down until the small one is returned. ***Cry for Help*** If a displacer cub is encountered in the wild, adventures would be wise to leave it alone, for some worried parent will be wandering for it. The cub can cry out with a weak voice that carries, the sound similar to a kitten or child mewing for milk.
