### Art Domain Gods of Art are beings that love beauty, truth and self-expression. All gods, however, don't like the same sorts of things. One god might care more about the aesthetic pleasure and recreation of nature in the form of a realistic painting, while another might be more interested in the emotions conveyed by more expressionistic works, and another might wish to be challenged to appreciate bleak, twisted works probing the darker elements of the psyche. The cleric's exploration of their medium should relate back to their god, but ultimately can be a source of self-discovery as well; not all art gods are chaotic, but few are lawful. ##### Art Domain Spells | Cleric Level | Spells | |:---:|:-----------:| | 1st | _color spray, identify_ | | 3rd | _heat metal, locate object_ | | 5th | _beacon of hope, bestow curse_ | | 7th | _fabricate, mordenkainen's private sanctum_ | | 9th | _legend lore, transmute rock_ | #### Gift from the Gods At 1st level, you may become proficient in two of the following: Acrobatics, Calligrapher's supplies, Glassblower's tools, Jeweler's tools, Painter's supplies, Performance, Potter's tools, Weaver's tools or Woodcarver's tools. As an action, you can cause each creature in a 10-foot cube originating from the image you create within 20 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw against your cleric spell save DC. The creatures that fail their saving throws are all charmed or frightened by you (your choice) until the end of your next turn. #### Natural Understanding Starting at 6th level, when you speak, people understand you as if you were speaking their native language, and you understand all spoken, non-secret languages. None but the gods themselves are your betters. If you fail an ability check related to your Art, you can treat the d20 roll as a 20. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or Long Rest.
