Blood Angel

"You are neither an emissary of Deorum, or a Devil of

Purgatory, but an uncanny mix between the two. Torn between your two bloodlines, you are neither right nor wrong. you are something new, a blood angel if you will."                             -- Raureif Viatorem, To the First Blood Angel
Amidst a small clearing, far away from the reaches of civilization, is a cabin, hosting a old Tiefling, and a young man. The young man walks over to the Tiefling, having finished his daily chores. He hugs the tiefling, and picks up his bag. It is time to see the world.

Mixed Breed

Blood Angels are a rare race, born of a tiefling and an aasimar. Often being hidden from the world, their very existence being a contradiction, Blood angels are brought up by one, or both of their parents in seclusion. This choice is often made with knowledge that both Deorum, and Purgatory might take actions to prevent the growth of blood angels, or because of the stigma around a Blood Angels war potential, brought about by the actions of the earliest Blood Angels. None of this is helped by the fact that Blood Angels are often stronger than their parents, with a larger range of skills, and a natural inclination to combat. Whilst being a mix of both Devil and Celestial can often cause a Blood Angel doubts about their purpose and their existence, it can be said with ease that they are no doubt stronger from the fact.

Born for War

Centuries ago, during the War of the Dragonmarks, a being appeared. Skin and wings died red as blood, he fell from the sky to the center of the great battle. amidst the shock of the solders, the being lashed out, killing everything that was in its path.

This battle was the worlds first introduction to the Blood Angel, and as time went on, more wars and more Blood Angels appeared. Soon it became a race for armies to enlist a Blood Angel, for with a little training a commander could have a high level champion, or mass healer, or even a battle-mage that devastates the battle field.

Somber Children

Although Blood Angels are thrown into battles and bloodshed, their true nature is more passive. A Blood Angel won't go seeking battle, nor would it welcome chaos, they tend to favor their remote lifestyles, where the air is clear of battle horns and war cries, not that they often can avoid said wars.
