Long before traveling to Barovia, Morgraine was a just and righteous Paladin. Despite his youth, he proved a masterful tactician and a composed yet ferocious warrior. There are those that noticed a change in him however, on the fateful day he fell to the minions of Strahd, and High Inquisitor Whitemane resurrected him. Now, further corrupted by Strahd, Morgraine is a true terror to behold.

Attacks with this two-handed weapon deal 2d6 slashing damage. You may use a bonus action to speak the swords word of power, causing the blade to glow with a dim necrotic energy, dealing an additional 1d4 necrotic damage. As a bonus action you can use this weapon to cast 'Life Drain'. Once this spell has been used, the blade cannot be made to glow until it has tasted the blood of a religious and Good aligned creature.
