# Bard College ## College of Grace ### Bards of the College of Grace are trendsetters; they are sparkling gems that effortlessly draw the eye. These bards are at home in extravagant balls and dedicated runways, but even simply sashaying in the streets tends to draw crowds to form in their wake. Even when their life is threatened, they brandish their swagger as their most potent weapon and armor. Defenseless as they may seem, woe to the brigand that mistakes them for an easy mark. Designers, dancers, and courtesans are often drawn to the College of Grace to hone their crafts and garner prestige. Fashion conscious nobles and wealthy merchants are favored customers, and bards of this college tend to consider one another rivals in building the strongest brand name. Some consider this purely a business and creative endeavor, but positioning oneself so close to such powerful individuals has an allure for those with loftier ambitions. #### Aesthetic Focus When you join the College of Grace at 3rd level, you become proficient in your choice of one of the following tools or skills: weaver's tools, jeweler's tools, disguise kit, Performance, or Acrobatics. When you choose proficiencies to gain the benefit of Expertise, you can choose your proficiency with weaver's tools, jeweler's tools, or the disguise kit instead of one of your skill proficiencies. You can use weaver's tools, jeweler's tools, a disguise kit, a handheld fan, or an unworn scarf as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells. #### Suave Defense Also starting at 3rd level, you perfect incorporating your exceptional poise under the pressures of combat. While you are not wielding a weapon, not wielding a shield, and not wearing armor, your Armor Class equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier. #### Inspirational Flair At 3rd level, you have developed a keen sense of how to instill confidence in your allies by projecting a sharply refined image of effortless bravado. As an action, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to strike a stylish pose. When you do so, choose a number of creatures you can see and that can see you within 30 feet of you, up to a number equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one). Each of them gains a Bardic Inspiration die. A creature who has a Bardic Inspiration die already gains no benefit from this effect. Bardic Inspiration dice granted from this feature can be used in the same manner as those granted by the Bardic Inspiration feature. However, they can only be used before the start of your next turn. \columnbreak #### Elusive Elegance As of 6th level, you have learned to defy expectations with every step you take, and take advantage of the bewilderment of your enemies. When you use your Inspirational Flair feature or cast a spell that can not deal damage, you can take the Disengage or Dodge action as a bonus action on your turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. #### Dazzling Spotlight Starting at 14th level, you can leave even your fiercest foes awestruck. When you use your Inspirational Flair feature, you can cause all creatures of your choice within 10 feet of you who can see you to make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. A creature immune to being charmed automatically makes this save. A creature who fails this saving throw is stunned for 1 minute. This effect ends for an affected creature if it takes any damage or if someone else uses an action to shake the creature out of its stupor. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest. > ##### Graceful Accesories >The following are new items that bards of the College of Grace can uniquely use as spellcasting focuses for their bard spells. >At your DM's discretion, you may use a similarly handheld and expensive accessory as a spellcasting focus instead. >| Item | Cost | Weight| >| ------------- |--------------:| -----:| >| Fan, handheld | 10 gp | — | >| Scarf, silk | 10 gp | — |
