Killoren Hunter
The mystery of the Killoren's creation has long been sought by seers and druids alike, those whose curiosity and thirst for knowledge has led them to try and find out more. Whether they were created by nature itself or a deity remains unknown, even to those of the fey with whom they commune. They are unmatched hunters, their longbows an extension of themselves as they hunt down and stymie the growth of the humanoid races.
The Killoren are aggressive and ambitious manifestations of nature's presence and power. When they are within the verdant forests their arrogance is plain to see.
Born of hate.
The Killoren are believed to be natures response to the ever growing and expansion of the humanoid races. Creatures born from natures hatred of the greed of man, of the destruction of its lands. As such the Killoren personify this hatred, they are unforgiving and actively hunt and kill humans who venture too far from the safety of their borders.
Threat to mankind. This fey creatures role in their society is clear, to aggressively protect feykind and their realms. Unlike the other fey however, the hunters will actively make their presence known, not content to wait in dwindling forests, they strike out in slowly growing numbers. Whilst the exact number of these creatures is unknown it is feared by sages and seers what will happen if their numbers are not kept in check.
