## Way of the Tides You follow the Way of the Tides, a student of the oceans. You draw your Ki as the flow within you, the push and pull of energy within you. You learn to fight like water, flowing through the battlefield, changing as water does. either destructive and crashing against your enemies or calm and still, unyielding to attacks. ### Flowing Motion At 3rd level, you gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed ### Tidal Stances At 3rd level, you gain the ability to enter a stance of the tides. At the start of your turn, declare which stance you are entering, you remain in a stance until the start of your next turn or you are knocked unconscious. #### Stance of the Hunting Shark While in this stance you gain the following benefits: * Whenever you use Flurry of Blows, you deal additional bludgeoning damage equal to your Wisdom modifier. * Your movement speed increases by 10 feet. #### Stance of the Guarding Turtle While in this stance you gain the following benefits: * Your AC increases by 1. * You have advantage on Wisdom saving throws. ### Flow of the Sea At 6th level, while in either stance you gain a new ability. #### Rising Swell While in the Stance of the Hunting Shark and take the attack action you may spend 2 ki points to deal additional damage to the target equal to your Martial Arts die. If you moved at least 10 feet in a straight line toward the target, it also must make a Strength saving throw. On a failure the target is pushed back a distance equal to half of the distance you moved and is knocked prone. On a success, the creature still moves half the distance but does not fall prone. \columnbreak #### Guiding Current While in the Stance of the Guarding Turtle, when another creature you can see within 5 feet of you makes an attack roll or a saving throw, you can use your reaction and spend 2 ki points to roll 1d8 and apply the number rolled as a bonus or penalty (your choice) to the creature's roll. You can do so after the creature rolls but before any effects of the roll occur. ### Ocean's Guidance At 11th level, the tides grow mightier and your stances gain additional effects. Additionally, you can breathe underwater and you gain the ability to cast *Water Breathing* as a ritual. #### Crashing Wave While in Stance of the Hunting Shark, you may spend 1 ki point when you make a melee attack to gain advantage on the attack. #### Body of the Depths While in Stance of the Guarding Turtle, you can use your bonus action and spend 3 ki points to gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. This effect lasts for 1 minute, until you are knocked unconscious, or change stances ### Master of the Deep and Shallow At 17th level, you may spend 3 ki points at the start of your turn and enter The Stance of the Mariner as detailed below. #### Stance of the Mariner While in this stance you gain the benefits of both the Stance of the Hunting Shark and the Stance of the Guarding Turtle. You remain in this stance for 1 minute or until you are knocked unconscious.
