Infinite Soul for Sorcerer

Infinite Soul Sorcerer

A sorcerer with an infinite soul views time’s passage as one might view a canvas. Across millennia of records, only one such sorcerer has ever existed at a time, and it is surmised that they are all part of one single chain of reincarnations, amassing arcane knowledge for some inscrutable purpose.

Infinite Soul Features
Sorcerer Level Feature
1st Arcane Rituals, Temporal Dilation
6th Chronomancy
14th Knowledge of Aeons
18th Time Unwinding

Temporal Dilation

At 1st level, you begin to generate localised ripples of time that defend against creatures with multiple attacks.

Immediately after a willing creature within 30 feet of you takes damage, you may use your reaction to send the creature to a harmless demiplane in a pocket in time. The target remains there until the start of its next turn. When this effect ends, the target reappears in the nearest unoccupied space to the space it left. You have a number of uses of this feature equal to your Charisma modifier, and you regain any expended uses at the end of a long rest.

Arcane Rituals

Your prodigious latent magic enables you to enact certain spells with no effort as long as you devote time to them.

At 1st level, you learn the 1st level arcane ritual spells listed below, as you recall them from one of your previous incarnations. You may cast these spells as rituals, even if they lack the ritual tag. Any spell effects enacted in this way are terminated early whenever you finish casting a new ritual with this feature. You gain access to additional arcane ritual spells with this feature at 6th, 10th, 14th and 18th level.

Arcane Ritual Spells
Sorcerer Level Spell
1st longstrider, mage armor
6th blur, enhance ability
10th tongues, major image
14th dimension door, greater invisibility
18th creation, telekinesis

Chronomancy

Beginning at 6th level, when you target a creature within 30 feet of you with a spell, you may expend 2 sorcery points to target it with one of the following effects:

Hasten. The target gains an additional action on its next turn. The action can only be used to attack (one weapon attack only), dash, disengage, hide, or use an object.

Delay. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your sorcerer spell save DC. On a failed save, until the end of the target's next turn, its movement is halved and it has disadvantage on attack rolls and Dexterity saving throws.

Knowledge of Aeons

At 14th level, your connection to your past lives deepens, enabling you to exchange some of your own learning with theirs. At the end of a long rest, you can choose one of the sorcerer spells you have learned and replace it with another spell from the sorcerer spell list. You can’t replace a spell learned from your Arcane Overflow feature in this way.

Time Unwinding

Starting at 18th level, as an action you may attempt to undo a single recent event by forcing a reroll of any roll made within the last round (including your last turn). You can force the reroll to be made with advantage or disadvantage, but you must use the reroll. Time's passage alters to accommodate the new result, and you take 10d10 force damage. This damage can't be reduced or prevented in any way, and you die

if you take this damage again before you finish a long rest.
