Dumdum Bulette

"Faster than a speeding Bulette."

" - Saying, meaning "terrifyingly fast"."

The dumdum bulette is so named due to its perceived lack of intelligence or sense of danger. This bulette seems to have the capacity to leap as any other of its kind, though it chooses to forgo this tactical advantage and assault its prey and foes head on, with its strength and vicious teeth and claws.

These bulettes have evolved to become savage hunters with wicked weapons in their arsenal. Even if a confrontation with a dumdum bulette doesn't result in death, their horrifying wounds are just as likely to kill their opponents by blood loss.

Survival of the Fittest. Despite being more physically powerful that ordinary bulettes, dumdum bulettes are a rarer sight due to their reckless abandon. They assault without care for their own safety, apparently driven solely by their desire too hunt and eat, and governed by their base urges. As a result, the lifespan of dumdum bulettes is substantially lower than an average bulette, though also substantially more violent.

Lack of Understanding. Attempts to magically placate or distract dumdum bulettes often fail. This has lead researchers to believe that the dumdum bulette lacks the mental capacity to understand when it is being subjected to certain schools of magic.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 31 (4d12 + 5) piercing damage.

Deadly Trajectory (Recharge 5-6). The bulette furiously charges directly at a creature it can see within 40 feet. While doing so, it can enter Large or smaller creatures' spaces. Whenever the bulette enters a creature's space, the creature must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw.
On a successful save, the creature can choose to be pushed 10 feet back or to the side of the bulette. A creature that chooses not to be pushed suffers the consequences of a failed saving throw.
On a failed save, the bulette overruns and tramples the creature. The creature is knocked prone and takes 15 (3d6 + 5) bludgeoning damage plus 15 (3d6 + 5) piercing damage.
