Colossal Moth

A relic of a prehistoric age, a colossal moth's appearance is a rare occasion. One of the few things that hasten the arrival of the colossal moth is the emergence of another colossal threat in its territory. When this occurs, even the fallout from the ensuing battle can obliterate entire settlements, for the moth cares little for the smaller creatures that inhabit its lands.

Unlike it's tinier kin, the colossal moth cannot rely on nectar and other plants for sustenance, and as such colossal moths have a far more carnivorous diet. Although this will largely consist of easier prey such as livestock, most moths will attack humanoids when hungry or if the opportunity presents itself.

Sugar Addict. The colossal moth is particularly attracted to the sweet scent of sugary food and drinks.

Wizard's Plaything. The colossal moth can be convinced to follow any light which is bright enough, something which has been exploited by more than one wizard. The sight of a wizard, riding a colossal moth, with a bright light glowing in front of it, guiding it's movement.
