## Way of the Vigilant Eagle Monks of the Way of the Vigilant Eagle are spiritual travelers, observers and advisors. Harnessing the power of their Ki to aid others in pursuing wisdom and encouraging self-restraint against destructive impulses, Vigilant Eagles Monks are often sought after as mentors and advisors. Their world view, each hardened by years of travel and interaction with society rather than asceticism and isolation, grants them unique perspectives on matters of life, philosophy, and theology. #### Tempered Guardian At 3rd level, you gain the following abilities to defend and support your allies. **Defensive Fighting.** Whenever you take the Dodge action, until the beginning of your next turn, you can use your reaction to spend 1 ki point to make an unarmed strike against a creature within 5 feet of you that makes a melee attack against you. **Keen Stride.** You can use your reaction to can swap places with a friendly creature within twenty feet after a melee attack roll against it has been made but before the attack is declared a hit or miss. The friendly creature is pushed to a spot within five feet of their original position. #### Mind of the Mentor Starting at 6th level, the spirits of your ancestors guide your path. **Seeker's Focus.** As an action, you spend 1 Ki point and enhance your visual and auditory senses for one minute. During this time, you have advantage on Perception and Survival skill checks. This effect ends if you take damage from a hostile creature or trap. **Studied Consul.** Choose two Wisdom skills. You gain double proficiency for any ability check you make that uses either of the skills. Additionally, you can add half your proficiency bonus, rounded down, to any Intelligence or Wisdom check you make that doesn't already include your proficiency bonus. #### Aspect of Balance At 11th level, you can create a 30 foot radius centered on yourself that lasts for one minute as an action. Each non-hostile creature within the aura has advantage on saving throws against effects that cause any of the following conditions: blinded, charmed, deafened, frightened, paralyzed, poisoned, and stunned. The aura ends if you make an attack, cast a spell that affects an enemy, or deal damage to another creature. Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest. #### Visage of the Seer When you reach 17th level, you've mastered your senses and see beyond the physical. As an action, you can grant yourself 60 feet of truesight until the end of your next turn. You can use your bonus action on each subsequent turn of combat to maintain the truesight otherwise the effect extinguishes. \columnbreak
