Scarlet Upgrade: Waves of Blood
Prerequisite(s): 6th level sanguine sorcerer, able to cast Waves of Blood
Benefit(s): Apply the following modification(s) to your Waves of Blood spell:
1) Waves of Blood is treated as a Scarlet Spell.
2) "School: conjuration (creation)" becomes "School: conjuration (creation) [blood]".
3) "Components: V, S, M (a drop of the caster’s blood)" becomes "Components: V, S, F (a dagger)".
4) "Duration: instantaneous and 1 round; see text" becomes "Duration: instantaneous".
5) "Saving Throw: Reflex negates, Fort negates (see text)" becomes "Saving Throw: none".
6) "must also succeed at a Fortitude saving throw or become sickened for 1d6 rounds by the tide of blood" becomes "must also attempt a Fortitude saving throw (those who pass this saving throw become sickened for 1 round and those who fail this saving throw become sickened for 1d6 + 1 rounds)".
7) "The area covered by the cone remains slick for 1 round, requiring a successful DC 10 Acrobatics check from any creature attempting to move within it (as if moving on uneven ground). Any creature that falls prone due to failing the check must succeed at a Fortitude save or become sickened until it stands back up." is removed from Waves of Blood.
8) "Any being that collides with an obstacle (such as a door or a tree) as a result of this bull rush takes 1d6 points of damage for every five feet of distance that they were moved." is added to Waves of Blood.
