Dancing Blademaster

"Boy, girl, You are a sword, that is all."

- Syrio Forel, First sword of Braavos, dancing blademaster

Piercing Performance. All dancing blademasters dance differently, some in different styles, some with a different amount of swords. The thing they have is common is dedication to their craft and perfection of the art of movement.

These blademasters seek out a challenge, an excuse to perform and prove their skill. None of them wish to simply win, they intend to dazzle with flawless footwork and immaculate incisions.

Redirect Blade. If the blademaster misses with a dancing sword attack it can use its bladewreath as a bonus action.

Dancing Swords. The blademaster wields its swords with telekinesis and the weapon attacks are magical.

Actions

Multiattack. The blademaster makes three dancing sword attacks.

Dancing Sword. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 60 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d10 + 5) slashing damage.

Bladewreath. The blademaster's swords surround a creature it can see within 60 feet until the start of the blademaster's next turn. If the creature moves it must succeed on a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or take 55 (10d10) slashing damage.

Reactions

Parry. The blademaster adds 5 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the blademaster must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.

Dancing Swords. The dancing blademasters take their name from their enchanted swords. Experts in mundane swordplay, the dancing blademasters have developed a long range fighting style.

As their swords hover, flit and dance through the air in a series of graceful strikes and efficient parries most witnesses describe the event as a performance akin to a musical or ballet.
