Invincible. Nothing can kill the metagaming pigeon. Any damage will cause it to disappear in a puff of smoke, only to reappear at the worst possible time.
Psychic Invasion. The Metagaming Pidgeon has the acute ability to invade the mind of its target and make suggestions based on their current situation. When at anytime the pigeon targets a creature, that target has all Intelligence and Wisdom saving throws at disadvantage.
Innate Spellcasting. The Metagaming pigeon's innate spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 23). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no components:
At Will: command, detect thoughts, sending, suggestion, telepathic bond
1/day: telepathy
Actions
Beak. Melee Weapon Attack. +13 to hit, one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 4) piercing damage.
Legendary Actions
The metagaming pigeon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below.
Instant Plane Shift. The metagaming pigeon instantly plane shifts. It cannot be tracked in any way.
Psychic Ray. The pigeon turns its head towards one creature within 120ft. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 23). On a success there is no effect but on a fail roll a d4. The target then suffers one of the following conditions:
1- The target must immediately follow one
suggestion of the metagaming pigeon without
question.
2- The target is charmed by the metagaming
pigeon. The metagaming pigeon will use the
targets action, reaction, and movement for its
next turn.
3- The target becomes confused until the
beginning of the metagaming pigeon without
making a saving throw. The effect last until the
beginning of the metagaming pigeons next
turn. This is not considered a concentration
spell.
4- The target begins to hear voices coming from
an entirely different multiverse. These voices
discuss what they will do to the lives of
yourself and your compatriots. The target
suffers 8d8 psychic damage.
Metagaming Pigeon
Few creatures strike fear into the stout of heart more than the Metagaming Pigeon. They will traverse to the material plane on a whim but primarily as agents of chaos and will spend their time amongst some of the strongest and bravest travelers to help or hinder their exploits.
Immutable Knowledge. Metagaming Pigeon sees all and knows all because of their metaphysical link to all things within the multiverse and along the planes. Metagaming Pigeons thrive in imparting some or all of this knowledge to those they deem worthy of creating or causing chaos in all forms. Though not necessarily evil, the Metagaming Pigeon is the biggest cause of headaches for adventurers everywhere.
