## Wand golem *Group, magical, construct* Wand of Fukken Missiles (d8 damage, *near, reach, ignores armour*). ─ 10 HP, 2 Armour **Special qualities:** Totally made of magic wands.
What kind of golem would you create if you had no clay or iron, a truckload of spare parts for magic wands, more than enough glue and/or staples, too much free time and ─above all─ not a smidge of common sense? Exactly. These wood and ivory constructs are relatively fragile by golem standards, and when damaged the risk exists that some wands discharge on their own with unpredictable results. Wand golems' hands are rarely carved with exquisite detail─if they have any─, which makes them unfit for delicate work, and their problem-solving abilities aren't nothing to write home about either. Really, they don't make good assistants, like, *at all*. Truth is, wand golems are best employed guarding places that one would rather see destroyed than captured. *__Instinct:__ To shoot fire and shit everywhere.*
* Follow simple orders as well as possible. (Not much) * Cast a spell from a random wand. * Explode in magic and fireworks upon breaking down.
> **Editor's note:** despite its name, the Wand of Shooting Fire and Shit Everywhere doesn't actually shoot inflamed feces. That's what the bonnacon is for. ___ > ##### Credits > Art and original idea taken from the webcomic [Oglaf](http://oglaf.com/), by Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne. > [Link to the strip, "Cavalcade of Wonders"](http://oglaf.com/cavalcade/). \columnbreak ## Bonnacon *Horde, large, cautious* Ramming (w[2d4]+1 damage, *close, forceful*). ─ 7 HP, 1 Armour
In the Barambali savvanahs, an animal is found which Cirinean men call bonnacon. It has the head of a bull, and thereafter its whole body is of the size of a bull's with the maned neck of a horse. Its horns are convoluted, curling back on themselves in such a way that if anyone comes up against it, he is not harmed. But the protection which its forehead denies this monster is furnished by its bowels. For when it turns to flee, it discharges fumes from the excrement of its belly over a distance of three acres, the heat of which sets fire to anything it touches. In this way, it drives off its pursuers with its harmful excrement. _**Instinct:** To flee and survive._
* Shoot a stream of burning, corrosive shit everywhere and then leg it.

These demonic beasts usually roam near rural settlements in the night, preying on cattle, or on the drunk or any wanderers that look like easy prey, tackling them down and drinking their blood. Under normal circumstances, a dip won't bother finishing its victim off after feeding. But if the victim fights back and manages to hurt it, the dip will attack ferociously until its uppity prey is dead─or, if it proves too strong, retreat and howl calling for help. *__Instinct:__ To hunt.*
* Feed on their blood. * Howl to summon its pack.
___ > The [Dip](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dip_(mitolog%C3%ADa)) is considered an emissary of the Devil in Catalonian folklore. It appears in the escutcheon of Pratdip (Tarragona). "The Pesanta, a thick-haired, big, bulky, black dog, heavy like lead, with a terrifying iron paw, with which it clobbers whoever it crosses paths with in the night on the streets. It slips through keyholes, under doors, and, if needed, walks through walls. It pleases it to sit on your chest while you sleep and oppress your breathing, causing nightmares and agitated, feverish dreams." _**Instinct:** To devour._
* Feed on their dreams. * Squeeze through the tiniest space.

Ojáncana are a race of cyclopean giants with very bad temper and a shitty attitude. An ojáncanu's face is round, its skin is wrinkly and jaundiced, its reddish hair is long and thick, and males sport knee-lenght beards of a vivid crimson. Its single eye, in the middle of the forehead, is alight like a candle. An ojáncanu may wear a dirty sheepskin or clothe itself only with its own mane and beard, smeared with bear lard. Ojáncana are lonely and fiercely territorial. They make their lairs in deep caves, whose entrances they close with a large boulder. The ojáncanu is petty and sadistic, and hates everyone. It also believes itself smarter than it actually is. The combination of these two traits results on seemingly random acts of mischief targeted at anyone unlucky enough to live in or near what an ojáncanu has claimed as its territory. Ojáncana knock trees down, obstruct fountains, steal sheep, kidnap people (without knowing well what to do with them afterwards), kill poultry and cattle, scatter large rocks over pasture land, or dig small ravines with its innate magic, or curse the cattle to cripple it. They are also gifted with the ability to polymorph themselves, which they normally use only for petty evil too. The ojáncanu might appear as an elderly beggar and ask for a place to stay the night, then while everyone is asleep it kills the farm animals, or steals or breaks anything that looks valuable, then disappears before dawn. It may also transform into a sturdy tree next to a road, then wait until a carriage passes by and fall down on top of the horses or oxes. *__Instinct:__ To fuck up with people.*
* Jinx them. * Fall onto them while hidden as a tree. * Make a dumb plan and expect it to work. ___ > [Ojáncana](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oj%C3%A1ncanu) (sing.: ojáncanu) are evil cyclops from Cantabrian mythology. \pagebreak ## Wolpertinger *Horde, tiny, stealthy, cautious* Bite (d6-1 damage, *hand, 1 piercing*) ─ 3 HP, 0 Armour
Wolpertingers are a bizarre amalgamation with the head of a rabbit, the body of a squirrel, the antlers of a deer, the fangs of a wolf, and the wings of a pheasant. A wolpertinger’s mottled fur ranges from light browns and tans to nearly black. A pair of brown-and-tan feathered wings sprouts from its back. While on the ground, wolpertingers fold these wings tight to their bodies. Although they are capable of flight, they find prolonged flight taxing and tend to stay on the ground most of the time. Wolpertingers are purely herbivore and feed mostly off grasses and berries, but that doesn't stop them from also being ferocious predators if appropriate prey appears. For this reason, plant creatures like blights, myconids and even shambling mounds avoid wolpertingers' territories like the plague. *__Instinct:__ To protect their fields.*
* Hide from the eyes of the sober. * Messily devour a plant monster.
___ > [Wolpertingers](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolpertinger) originate from Bavarian folklore. > > Art: "Wolpertinger", edit of [*Young Hare* by Albrecht Dürer](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liebre_joven_(Durero)#/media/File:Albrecht_D%C3%BCrer_-_Hare,_1502_-_Google_Art_Project.jpg). \columnbreak ## Entiznau *Solitary, large, terrifying* Lightning bolt (d10 damage, *near, far, messy, 1 piercing*) ─ 16 HP, 1 Armour
They say he's a fairy, but in nothing he resembles the other fey: he's bulky and rather clumsy, instead of tiny and slippery, he isn't keen on tricks and helps mortals if he can, although he keeps the distances. His skin is sooty and blackened like coal, and black are his clothes too. He can rile the clouds up by waving his hat and sounding his tabret, although he can't rule over them. He has some power over lightning as well, although sometimes when he tries to deflect a bolt it'll hit something else and cause a fire. He's a sworn enemy of the chancalaera, and he'll protect mortals from her whenever he can. _**Instinct:** To help clumsily._
* Protect somebody from lightning bolt (and accidentaly hit something else). * Incite storm clouds to move around. * Sound his thundering drum. [
