Sorcerous Origin: Pyromancer

Your innate magic comes from a connection to the realm of elemental fire, from a spark of primordial fire that was mingled with your blood or that of your ancestors. This spark, is a small ember meant to be cultivated an fed until it is a great conflagration which will consume all those in your path.

Pyromancer Quirks

1 You are covered in burns that mark the first time your power manifested.
2 You absentmindedly ignite small fires that quickly sputter out.
3 You cackle like a fiend when you unleash your fire spells.
4 You are temperamental and you get angry easily.
5 You admire fire, even if it burns your friends.
6 You are brave to the point of recklessness.
7 Your eyes flare when angered.
8 You like your food charred.

Fireborn

At 1st level, you gain the ability to start fires with a touch. As an action, you can magically ignite flammable object you touch with your hand-an object such as a torch, a piece of tinder, or the hem of drapes.

In addition, when your Spellcasting feature lets you learn or replace a sorcerer cantrip or a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose the new spell from any spell list if it a fire spell. You must otherwise obey all the restrictions for selecting the spell, and it becomes a sorcerer spell for you.

Mantle of Flame

Starting at 1st level, you can unleash the fire that blazes within you. As a bonus action, you magically wreathe your-self in swirling flames, as your eyes glow like hot coals gaining the following benefits:

  • You shed bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet.
  • Any creature takes fire damage equal to your Charisma modifier if it hits you with a melee attack from within 5 feet of you, touches you or if it ends his turn in 5 feet of you.
  • Whenever you start casting a spell of 1st level or higher that deals fire damage, fiery magic erupts from you. This eruption causes creatures of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of you to take fire damage equal to half your sorcerer level (minimum of 1).

You remain wreathed until your unconscious, die or dismiss the mantle as a bonus action.

Fire in the Veins

At 6th level, you gain resistance to fire damage and any spell or effect you create ignores resistance to fire damage.

Pyromancer's Fury

Starting at 14th level, when you are hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to deal fire damage to the attacker. The damage equals your sorcerer level. Then the attacker must make a Wisdom saving throw against your sorcerer spell save DC. On a failed save, the attacker is fear of you until the end of his next turn.

Blazing Soul

Starting at 18th level, you gain immunity to fire damage and any spell or effect you create treats immunity to fire damage as resistance to fire damage.

Additionally, when you use your Mantle of Flame feature you have a flying speed of 60 feet and can hover.
