# Ajin the Merciless Ajin is a powerful Archfey not for strength but for dedication and whit. He has hunted many entities in the Feywilds to extinction, for in the war against the Formorians it was only when Ajin was called to find those who where left in hiding have they not been seen since. Calling upon Ajin is something that should not be taken lightly as when he is sent to finish a target he will not stop until them and their lineage is wiped from this world. This is why he is forced to stay in the Feywilds by the gods. To get around this he makes pacts with mortal beings to finish his work for him, well should he not have to kill them that is. ## Archfey of the Hunter Ajin has a large half dragon shaped body made out of bloody and twisted tree limbs and roots. His eyes are black and hollow with dragon like wings sprouting from his back. Two twisted tree branch horns rise from his head. Ajin has also managed to attract a Mriswith Queen to his cause using her children as servants to help him in his endeavors. How this relationship came to be scholars have no idea have no idea, only the queen and Ajin know the reason. ## Before the Feywild No one knows the what Ajin was before he emerged from the realm of Ekyo, but upon him emerging from the black forest he made his mark and climbed to the top of the Feywild realms. He killed many magical beasts and even challenged to court of Titania and won. With that feat the Archfey all came together and carved a realm for Ajin and he became an powerful Archfey. ## Always the Hunter and Never the Hunted Ajin considers himself the top of the food chain. His favorite prey that he has ever hunted however is dragons and vampires. Creatures that are normally the top of the food chain Ajin prefers to see them brought low by his sword are struck from the sky by his bow. The thrill of the hunt to kill such a deadly foe has no other to Ajin. Some say it is because of who he was before he became an archfey other say it was his end of the contract with the Mrisiwth Queen. The target remains Ajin's mark for 1 hour, or until either the target or Ajin drops to 0 hit points. When Ajin makes an attack roll against his marked target, he adds a d8 to his attack roll. If Ajin attacks a different target while he has a marked target, he subtracts a d10. from his attack roll. Ajin crits his marked targets on rolls of 18, 19, or 20 and deals three times the normal damage instead of double > > **From Dirt We Began, and In Dirt We Leave Our Mark.** Ajin can track creatures in the most difficult of circumstances. If a creature that Ajin is tracking is not at max hp he has advantage on survival, and perception checks checks to hunt down and track those creatures > > **Hunter First, Fighter Second.** Ajin adds +2 to ranged weapon attacks and damage (included in the weapon attack). > > **Magic Resistance.** Ajin has advantage on saving throws against spells and spell like effects. > > **Misty Escape.** When Ajin takes damage, he can use his reaction to turn invisible and teleport up to 80 feet to an unoccupied space the he can see. Ajin remains invisible until the start of his of his next turn or until he attacks or casts a spell > > **Ancient Weapon.** Ajin wields a longbow made long ago with forgotten knowledge. The longbow counts as a +3 weapon (included in the attack profile). As a bonus action Ajin can transform the longbow int a a +3 longsword (included in the attack profile) that he is proficient in. Ajin cannot be disarmed from this weapon and can summon it to his hand as a bonus action as long as they are on the same plane of existence. > > **Hunter of Beasts Murderer of Dragons, and Undead** When Ajin attacks a dragon, or undead creatures he adds +4 to his attack and damage rolls against them. He also adds +5 to perception and survival rolls to track down dragons, and undead creatures and their layers (this includes hydras and wyverns, but not gods). > > ***Innate Spellcasting.*** Ajin's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 19).Ajin can cast the following spells requiring no material components > > At will: pass without trace, calm emotions, phantasmal force, eldritch blast (17th level) > > 3/day each: hellish rebuke (5th level), hold person, hallucinatory terrain, counter spell (3rd level) > > 1/day each: hold Monster, greater invisibility > > ### Actions > ***Multiattack.*** Ajin uses one breath weapon and makes 2 attacks. Two with his longbow, two with his longsword, or one of each (must use his bonus action to transform the blade). > > ***Longbow.*** *Ranged Weapon Attack:* +16 to hit, Range 500ft, one target. *Hit* 2d10 +11 force damage +2d6 necrotic > > ***Longsword.*** *Melee Weapon Attack:* +14 to hit, R 10ft, one target. *Hit* 2d10 +9 slashing damage +2d6 necrotic > > ***Repulsion Breath (Recharge 5-6).*** Ajin exhales repulsion energy in a 20-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed a DC 20 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is pushed 50 feet away from Ajin. > > ***Lightning Breath (Recharge 5-6).*** Ajin exhales lightning in a 80-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw, taking 10d10 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. > > ***Summon Miswraith's (1/day).*** Ajin calls allies to his aid summoning 1d6 mriswiths that act on his initiative.
