Overview
At the heart of the narrative of Sperodin is an Emperor and the Empire he has built. When you start looking at his story and his empire the events and provinces can become overwhelming. The purpose of this document is to look at the entire narrative in one stroke and make sense of everything!
Pre-History and a World Beyond the Empire
Pre- history
Dynamos Parvineum Emperious was born in year 333AOM. This means there was over 300 years of the Age of Man before his birth. (AOM) Little of this age before has been recorded. There have only historically a handful of Human Kingdoms. The Empire of Dynamos is the first Empire of Man. Much of the previous History of Man belongs to Barbaric Barbarians. Creation of man did not spawn AOM. The event that spawned the AOM was when the first King of Velis was crowned.
The world Beyong
The Empire of Dynamos control nearly all of the northern half of Sperodin. This northern land is not all there is though. To the North East is a chain of islands shrouded in religious mystery. To the East is a chain of islands resisting the empire and to the south are massive elvan kingdoms that some thing would decimate the Empire if the Empire was to strike against them . These Elvan lands not only wield strength but they weild a rich history. Elves claim to of existed on Sperodin before the Pantheon was even formed and they claim they are the first born children of Askyiska.
The Origin Story
All of the Greatest characters in any epic tale usually have an origin story. Dynamos Parvineium Emperious is no different. His Origin is shroud in blood and fire. Despite the beginning those loyal to him claim he is the hope that the gods intended to paved the path of man upon Sperodin.
The Story of Dynamos Parvineum Emperious is truly a story about more than a man. It is a story about Barbarians rising, Dragons slaughtering, The hands of gods in mortal affairs and it all begins with a woman. The mother of Dynamos, Brianna Parvineum.
She was born of no blood important. She dwelled in a small village with her family. Then one night another tribe to the south attack. The majority of Brianna's village was slaughtered. Those who lived were rounded up and tied to a pyre. The Pyre was lit and all that remained were burnt a live.
Normally when a soul dies they go to be harvested by the goddess of the grave. These souls were tribute to the four gods of war and thus they were sent to the four goddess of war. Something strange happened from here. The exact details are not certain. What is known is the goddess of war found a pleasure in Brianna. Her soul was sent back to Sperodin and from the ashes she rose. As she rose she was no longer the same. In her was a seed of each of the goddess. Nine months later Dynamos Parvineum was born. When Brianna rose the barbarians who slaughtered her village knelt before her. She and her child are worhipped as gods amongh their people.
Time Line of the Empire
Year 333 AOM
The birth of Dynamos Parvineum. Upon his birth he is worshipped as a god among his people
Year 347 AOM
At the age of 14 Dynamos challenges the chief of his village for control over his village. He kills the chief effortlessly. Then in an act that some would deem as evil he kills the 7 sons of the former chief. The civilized world would see this as evil. It is the way of the Barbarians though. Also the way of the Barbaians, Dynamos took the wife of the former chief for himself. His sons did not have wives but if they did he would of been entitled to them as well.
Year 349 AOM
A pair of white dragons threaten the village of Dynamos. Dynamos kills one of the Dragons and before he kills the other he is able to beat it into submission. What followed who become the fate of the land. Who could stand against a demigod on the back of a dragon?
Year 350 AOM
by the end of year 350 all of Whitasayosian is united under Dynamos Parvineum. He did not conquer it. It united and rallied around him. He was and is their hope.
351 AOM - the Year the Empire was born
Year 351 AOM
East and West Columasis are conquered by Dynamos. This was not from blood lust. Whitasayosian is a winter wasteland. Resources were low. It was fight or die. West Columasis gave little fight. They acknowledge Dynamos for his glory and knelt quickly. East Columasis was another story. Because of its resistance it was brought to ruin. From the ruin Dynamos would rebuild it and it would become the epicenter of his military force over time. In the aftermath of everything east and west columasis was formerly ruled by two queens. Dynamos took both of them as his own wives.
Year 351 AOM
The Province of Parvineum was conquered in a day. Before the conquest it was known as Goldcycle. After the conquest though Dynamos would take its gold mine, sit upon it's golden throne, rename it after himself and make it the capital of the new world he would build.
Year 351 AOM
Dynamos enlists two thirds of all able fighters from Whitasayosian, East and West Columasis and Parvineum and forms the scariest army seen in the history of man over the next few years.
Year 351 AOM
Seeing everything taking place Fearoxica attacks the newly formed Empire before it can expand. The barbarians of Fearoxica stood no chance. Dynamos killed their barbarian king in hand to hand combat. He then killed the five sons of the Barbarian King and took the wives of the former king and his sons for himself.
Year 352 AOM
The climb of the empire slows as a civil war breaks out that sees digitysis gaining it's freedom from Incorsia. This civil war lasts roughly two years and ends with Incorsia backing off. The conflict in Digitysis did not slow though. The nobles of digitysis began a tug of war for power.
Year 356 AOM
Incorsia ends up seeking out Dynamos Parvineum and submits to the Empire. They give to Dynamos the first born Tiefling of the royal family of Incorsia and she becomes his favorite wife.
Year 357 AOM
In the after math of Incorsia submitting to the empire, the empire turns its attention towards Digitysis. The Empire sweeps in and decimates digitysis as it warred amongst itself and for the first time in decades Digitysis is stabilized.
Year 358 AOM
The Royal Line of Velis ends up disappearing. No one knows exactly why or where they went. It is believed by some it was from fear of the empire. The vacancy left an opening though and Dynamos walked in and took the Velis Throne, The First Throne of man with no resistance.
Year 358 AOM
With the strength of the empire being unmatched the nobles of The Crystal Side Isles knew they were next most likely. Thus they approached Dynamos with gifts and submitted themselves to the Empire. Amongst their gifts was the thing the Empire lacked most, a Naval Force!
Year 358 AOM
The empire sways half of the noble powers of Arborflume to their course and easily with the help of those who sided with the empire drive off those against the empire. Those against the empire follow a Druid that has been able to resist the power of the empire to this day.
Year 361 AOM
The Empire strikes against Meckovia. They bring the capital to ruins and shatter it's strongholds. Meckovia breaks into four provinces and engrafts two of the provinces into it's fold. The initial strike against Meckovia was turning the nobles of Hafidium against the nobles of the capital. The nobles of Hafidium became the center piece of the attack against the capital.
Year 362 AOM
with the strength of the Empire controlling the majority of the North concerns of the Elves in the south were flourishing. As a result The Elven Prince Nodlelem approached Dynamos and did something some shook all of the Elves. He gifted to Dynamos one of his daughters and Dynamos took her as one of his wives. A bond was strike and an accord was made. This accord was an agreement that Dynamos would not envade Elvan Lands.
