Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the kobold has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

Pack Tactics. The kobold has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the kobold's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Death Blow. If the kobold is killed before they can trigger their bead from a Necklace of Fireballs, they must succeed on a Constitution saving throw to use their reaction to trigger their bead, either by throwing it or dropping it at their feet. The DC equals 10 or half the damage they take, whichever number is higher. On a fail, they die before triggering their bead.

Actions

Bead of Fireball. The kobold has a single bead from a Necklace of Fireballs. They do not care if they are caught in the blast of the fireball so long as they get as many adventurers as possible.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage

Kamikaze Kobolds Corps

These kobolds have been given a single bead from a Necklace of Fireballs and told to kill the adventurers storming their home. If they are successful, their family and lineage will be honored and highly rewarded through their sacrifice.

These mean and nasty kobold care not if their bead of fireball hits them in the blast, so long as they get as many adventurers as possible. And, even in death, they hold this above all else. On a death blow, they can make a Constitution saving throw to have one last reaction. The activation of their bead.

There is no negotiating with these kobolds as they will only lie to get you in closer so that even more of them can explode their beads at once.

Multiple Beads. If more than one kobold is able to explode their bead at the same time in the same area, than treat the exploding fireball as one higher level casting of the spell for each bead in the area.

Danger Close. If a bead of fireball is not triggered before a kobold dies, than it may have a chance of exploding when another bead of fireball goes off near it. When this happens, you can roll a DC 10 Constitution saving throw for the bead. On a fail, the bead explodes. If there are multiple explosions at one time, the bead has disadvantage on the Constitution saving throw, but it does not roll for each explosion that happens at the same time. Assume that the bead has a Constitution score of 10 (+0).

If a bead is being actively carried by a creature, it is not subjected to this saving throw.
