Bardic College: College of Mercury
There lived a legend of the 20th century. I was too young to have lived when he was around, but I was still graced with the music he and the band he was a part of had created together. I apologize if your favorite song by them is not referenced here; honestly, mine is not either.
As a tribute, this April Fool's Day, let's make this legend a playable archetype in one of the world's greatest roleplaying games. Play the game at your own risk!
A Kind of Magic
At 3rd level, you voice has some kind of magic to it. You gain the ability to use your singing voice as musical instrument, which you are proficient with. You also gain proficiency in the Performance skill, and you double your proficiency bonus for any Charisma (Performance) checks you make using your singing voice.
Good Company
Starting at 3rd level, you can take good care of what you got. You learn the mending cantrip. In addition, once per long rest, creatures who benefit from your Song of Rest can treat one of their Hit Dice rolls as a maximum result.
Another One Bites the Dust
At 6th level, your enemies won't be ready for this.
Whenever you or an allied creature reduce a creature to 0 hit points within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to have any creature you choose within 10 feet of that creature to make a Wisdom saving throw against your Spell Save DC or be frightened of you for 1 minute. Each creature can repeat the saving throw at the beginning of each of their turns.
You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier. You regain all expended uses at the end of a long rest.
Under Pressure
At 6th level, insanity would laugh at the pressure your under. Once per short or long rest, you use your Countercharm as a reaction.
Don't Stop Me Now
At 14th level, you can persevere yourself in the good times on stage of combat. Whenever you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration to have 1 hit point instead and you suffer a level of exhaustion.
The Show Must Go On
Beginning at 14th level, even when you fall, your smile still stays on.
Whenever you are knocked unconscious, all allies within 15 feet of you gain a bonus to attack rolls and Charisma (Performance) checks equal to your charisma modifier (minimum of 1) . Each time you fail a death saving throw, the bonus increases by 1. This bonus lasts for 1 minute, you die, or you are stabilized .
