## The Harvest Patron Your patron is one of the many patrons of Harvest, lesser deities of agriculture and fertility who serves Chauntea. They appears to those who have pure intention for the land on which they live, and those who respect the cycle of life. Beings of this sort include Inari, Ceres, Demeter, Äkräs, and so on. #### Expanded Spell List The Harvest Patron lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you. ##### The Harvest Patron Expanded Spells |Spell Level | Spells | |:---:|:-----------:| | 1st | *create or destroy water, entangle* | | 2nd | *barkskin, pass without trace* | | 3rd | *erupting earth, plant growth* | | 4th | *grasping vine, guardian of nature* | | 5th | *dawn, tree stride* | ### Green Thumb At 1st level, you learn the *druidcraft* cantrip. They count as warlock cantrips for you, but they don't count against your number of cantrips known. ### Thorned Defense At 1st level, as an action, you can throw a magical seed onto an unoccupied space within 30-feet of you that you can see. From that point, a 10-foot wide, 3-foot tall wall of thorns grows in whichever direction you choose, which lasts for 1 minute, provides half cover, and is considered difficult terrain. Whenever a hostile creature moves within 5-feet of the wall, it lashes out at them. The creature must make a dexterity saving throw or take slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your charisma modifier. If a hostile creature attempts to walk through the wall, it will take piercing damage equal to 1d4 + your charisma modifier. You can use this feature up to a number of times equal to your charisma modifier. You regain all expended uses after you finish a long rest. ### Spring Allergen At 6th level, your body becomes akin to a flowering plant. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to release pollen from your wound. Each creature you choose within 10-feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, they begin to sneeze uncontrollably. They are incapacitated until the end of your next turn. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
### Blessed Orchard Starting at 10th level, your patron teaches you how to truly live off the land. Whenever you finish a long rest, you can grow a small tree in a patch of dirt and provide fruit for a number of creatures up to your charisma modifier (a minimum of one). Should they partake in the fruit, they gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your warlock level, and advantage on saving throws against poison and disease for 8 hours. The fruit loses it's potency if it has not been consumed within an hour of being grown. ### Fields of Light At 14th level, you gain the ability to bloom radiant fields that protect you and your allies. As an action you create a field of a crop of your choice on the ground, which expands to a 30ft cube, centered on you, which lasts for 1 minute. All hostile creatures that are within the area, or enter the area for the first time, takes 2d8 radiant damage + your Charisma modifier, and must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, it is restrained by entangling plants. A creature restrained by the plants can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. On a success, it frees itself. You may also choose creatures up to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of one). These creatures gain temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt. At the start of every round, their temporary hit points are refreshed as long as they remain within the field. Additionally, the land is considered enriched. All plants in a half-mile radius centered on you become enriched for 1 year. The plants yield twice the normal amount of food when harvested. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Their patron encourages them to share what they have with others, especially when it comes to food and drink. ##### Your Pact Boon The following are suggestions for the appearance and style of your pact boon as a warlock of the Harvest Patron. **Pact of the Chain.** Harvest Patron warlocks are granted familiars of their patrons making to help guide them on the right path, such as the Harvest Fox. Other times their familiars will take the form of various farm animals, or ***bees***. **Pact of the Blade.** Your pact weapon may appear as various farming equipment albeit with sharper blades. Such weapons can sprout from the body or the ground like a plant when summoned. **Pact of the Tome.** Your Book of Shadows may have covers that are made of woven grass, sheafs of wheat or tree bark. \pagebreakNum ## Eldritch Invocations The following invocations have been added as additions for the Harvest patron. Your DM can lift this restriction to better suit the campaign if these invocations are also appropriate for another warlock patron. #### Purifying Spirit *Prerequisite*: The Harvest Patron
You can cast *detect poison and disease* at will, without expending a spell slot. Additionally you can cast *purify food and drink* once, without expending a spell slot. You can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest. #### Verdant Child *Prerequisite*: The Harvest Patron, 9th level
You can cast *speak with plants* once, without expending a spell slot. You can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest. #### Harvester's Bounty *Prerequisite*: The Harvest Patron, 7th level
You can cast *create food and water* twice without expending a spell slot. Food created this way can be in the form of fresh and tasty vegetables, fruit or freshly cooked meat. Water may be substituted for simple fruit juice or wine. You regain these uses after you finish a long rest. #### Gardener's Guide *Prerequisite*: The Harvest Patron, Pact of the Tome
Your Book of Shadows contains shifting pages that show detailed information about the local flora and fauna. You gain proficiency in the *herbalism kit*, and you can draw these tools from the very pages of your book, allowing it to function as a *herbalism kit*. Additionally, a small symbol appears on the cover of your Book of Shadows, informing you of the current season. After a long rest, your Book of Shadows also creates a non-magical seed of a crop that will grow in the current or coming season depending on it's growth rate. #### Reap and Sow *Prerequisite*: The Harvest Patron, Pact of the Blade When you score a critical hit with your pact weapon, you deal an additional 1d8 radiant damage and grant temporary hit points to any creature within 30-feet of you equal to the damage dealt. Additionally, creatures you kill with your pact weapon sprout various fruits and vegetables based on the creature's origin.
