Oath of Valor
The Oath of Valor only calls to those who are purest in their beliefs. These individuals have stared into the face of evil and kept faith; seeing that there are beings in this world beyond redemption. It is for this reason, that they seek eternal servitude amongst the holy warriors of their deity to smite every last fiend, stepping over the bodies of those who failed; those who were held back by compassion and mercy.
Optional Feature: Truth be Told
1st-level feature (replaces Divine Sense)
You have advantage on Charisma (Insight) checks to determine if a creature is lying to you.
Optional Feature:
Touch of the Righteous
1st-level feature (modifies Lay on Hands)
When you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can choose to spend points from the pool provided by your Lay on Hands feature to deal additional radiant damage equal to the number of points spent, but no more than twice your paladin level.
Healing a creature with your Lay on Hands feature now requires twice the amount of points drawn from your pool per hit point healed.
Tenets of Valor
A Paladin of Valor values these tenets above all else. They are part of their very essence and every paladin will live and die by them.
In darkness, I shall be light.
In times of doubt, I shall keep faith.
In throes of rage, I shall hone my craft.
In vengeance, I shall have no mercy.
In the midst of battle, I shall have no fear.
In the face of death, I shall have no remorse.

Angelic Armament
At 3rd level, your god entrusts you with the soul of a fallen warrior who's not yet ready to give up the fight against the never-ending darkness.
By infusing this soul into a weapon with the Heavy and Two-Handed properties over the course of a long rest, you can transform it into an Angelic Armament. You can infuse the soul into a different weapon over the course of a long rest.
Your Angelic Armament has the following properties:
- If the Angelic Armament isn’t already a magic weapon, it becomes one.
- You can dismiss the Angelic Armament or summon it back to you by using your bonus action.
- Only you are proficient with your Angelic Armament, and it will dismiss itself if someone else tries to wield it.
Channel Divinity: Tempered in Battle
As a bonus action, you charge each of your strikes with righteous fury, using your Channel Divinity.
For 1 minute, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack with your Angelic Armament, you gain a +1 bonus to all future attack and damage rolls made with your Angelic Armament. Each hit further increases this bonus by +1 to a maximum equal to your charisma modifier and each miss decreases this bonus by -1 to a minimum of 0. This bonus fades when the ability ends.
Channel Divinity: Glistening Bulwark
As a bonus action, you let valor guide your weapon in order to defend those around you, using your Channel Divinity.
When wielding your Angelic Armament, you may reduce damage to allied creatures as per the Interception fighting style (reference below) without expending your reaction and with the reach provided by your Angelic Armament. You can do this for 1 minute, but no more than once per round.
Interception
When a creature you can see hits a target that is within 5 feet of you with an attack, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage the target takes by 1d10 + your proficiency bonus (to a minimum of 0 damage). You must be wielding a shield or a simple or martial weapon to use this reaction.
Righteous Flame
At 7th level your deity bestows an incorporeal halo or crown upon you, marking you as one of their finest warriors.
This halo is permanently under the effects of the light spell, and you can cast the Daylight spell on it without expending a spell slot. You can do this twice, and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
When you roll initiative, your halo starts to burn with a Righteous Flame.
This Righteous Flame allows an affected creature to add half your Charisma modifier (rounded up; minimum of 1) to one attack roll, damage roll, saving throw, or ability check per round. The creature can wait until after it rolls before deciding to use the Righteous Flame bonus, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. At the start of each of your turns you can decide to keep the Righteous Flame for yourself this round or move it to an allied creature within a 30 feet radius around you. If the distance to the target creature surpasses 30 feet, the Righteous Flame returns to you right before the start of your next turn.
Additionally, you can apply the Righteous Flame bonus to every Initiative roll you make.
Basking in your Light
At 15th level incorporeal wings sprout from your back, which are permanently under effects of the light spell and give you a magical flying speed of 50 feet + your walking speed.
Additionally, you can cast the True Seeing and Sunbeam spells each once without material components and without expending a spell slot. You regain expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Amongst my Kind
At 20th level, you have proven faithful to your deity against all odds. For this, you are rewarded with the honor to serve for all eternity. Your creature type changes to celestial. You do not age anymore, and can't be aged magically.
Additionally, you can erupt in holy fire in the midst of battle. Instead of moving your Righteous Flame at the start of your turn, you can choose to apply it to every allied creature in a 60 feet radius around you (including you) for 1 minute. During this time the Righteous Flame bonus is doubled for you. You must finish a short or long rest to use this feature again.
