## Void-Touched Origin Corrupted by the hungering void, whether due to a visit to the Far Realms, meddling by an Old One, or being part of a catastrophic ritual, Void-Touched sorcerers often teeter on the edge of collapse containing the insatiable hunger within and beyond them. Only the strong willed survive the void's silent, dark song for long. ## Quirks As an option, you may roll 1d6 to determine a quirk your origin causes you, or come up with your own. 1. Light seems to darken near you, and sounds feel muted. 2. You always feel hungry, no matter how much you eat. 3. You never dream. Ever. 4. Your eyes appear to be an endless black. 5. Your emotions often feel distant or nonexistent. 6. You often seem to go unnoticed and forgotten. ### Void Within Beginning at 1st level when you choose this sorcerous origin, you are always aware of the void within you, calling to you. Whenever you cast a spell that deals damage, you may change its damage type to Necrotic. You can speak, read, and write Deep Speech. *Vampiric Touch* is added to sorcerer spell list for you. ### Feed the Void Also beginning at 1st level, you can feed the void and draw strength from it. As a action, you may destroy one nonmagical, nonliving object no larger than Small that you touch and gain temporary hit points equal to your sorcerer level. If the object is being worn or carried by another creature, you must first succeed on a Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check opposed by Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) or Dexterity (Acrobatics). You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier. You regain all uses of this feature upon completing a long rest. ### Hunger for Magic Beginning at 6th level, you learn to consume small amounts of disrupted magic. You learn the spell *Counterspell* if you don't already know it. If you already know it, you may learn a different spell from the sorcerer spell list. It does not count against your spells known. Whenever you successfully cause a spell to fail using *Counterspell*, you regain 1 sorcery point. ### Empty Flesh Additionally at 6th level, your body's matter becomes infused with dark energy, making it resilient to decay. You have resistance to necrotic damage. \columnbreak
### Void Embodiment Beginning at 14th level, you have adapted to and accepted the void inside you, its empty power fully suffusing your body. You gain immunity to Necrotic damage. Additionally, you no longer require sleep. You are able to complete a long rest by performing eight uninterrupted hours of light, non-strenuous activity *(reading a book, keeping watch, casually chatting with a companion, etc.)*. However, you may still sleep if you choose. ### Void Manifestation Beginning at 18th level, you can briefly reveal the void that gnaws at you, fully unleashing its silent hunger upon the world. As an Action, spend 7 sorcery points to cause each creature within 30 feet of you to make a Strength saving throw. A creature takes 4d6 necrotic damage on a failed save and is pulled 10 feet toward you. A creature that succeeds takes half the damage and is not pulled. Regardless of success or failure, if a creature is within 5 feet of you after making the previous saving throw, that creature must make a Charisma saving throw. It takes a 8d6 necrotic damage on a failure, or half as much on a success. If this damage reduces the creature to 0 hit points, it is disintegrated.
