The Spike Spiegel Bounty Hunter

A Rogue Subclass

After being exiled by the Syndicate, Spike became a feared bounty hunter. Able to track down his prey with the use of the skills he learned when he was younger, he was always able to get his man or woman.

Gunslinger

At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with firearms and Tinker's Tools. You may use the tools to craft ammunition and repair damaged firearms.

For more information on Firearms, check out pg. 268 of the Dungeon Master's Guide.

The Hunted

Your skills as a Bounty Hunter have given you an advantage over those you hunt. At 3rd level, you may choose two races of humanoid (such as gnolls and orcs) as your hunted enemies. You have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks to track your hunted enemies, as well on Dexterity (Stealth) checks to assist you on sneaking up on them.

You can choose one additional humanoid race at 9th and 15th level.

Strike Fast

Fighting in close quarters is something that is needed to subdue your opponent. At 9th level your practice of martial arts gives you mastery of combat styles that use unarmed strikes and finesse melee weapons. You may only use this ability if you are not wearing medium or heavy armor and not using a shield, you must be unarmed or wielding a finesse weapon.

You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes, and your unarmed strikes deal 1d6 bludgeoning damage.

When you take the attack action on your turn, and using an unarmed strike or a finesse weapon, as a bonus action you can make an Unarmed strike.

Your Unarmed strike damage increases to a 1d8 at 13th level.

Getting The Jump

As you have developed your skills over time, you always seem to have the drop on the individual you are hunting. At 13th level, you gain advantage on all initiative rolls and you cannot be surprised.

Take You Down

You have fought your enemies for so long that you know where to strike to deal the most damage. At 17th level, once per round when you make a successful hit, you can turn your hit into a critical hit. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier per long rest.
