Absorbed Weapons. The monster is able to absorb the equipment of any creature it kills and use those weapons as if it were proficient with them. They deal an additional 4d6 damage on top of the weapons normal damage. It can not attune to a weapon or use any abilities that require it to speak a command word.
Adhesive. The monster adheres to anything that touches it. A huge or smaller creature adhered to the monster is also grappled by it (escape DC 22). Ability checks made to escape this grapple have disadvantage.
Grappler. The monster has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.
Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the monster fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Magic Resistance. The monster has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Magic Weapons. The monster's weapon attacks are magical.
Shapechanger. The monster can use its bonus action to shift its form to augment its abilities. The stats of the monster are changed so long as the monster is in that form and it can choose to shift out of that form as a bonus action and back into it's normal amorphous form.
Shielded (Protection Form). As a bonus action, the monster shifts large bone and metal fragments to the outside of its skin, granting it a +2 bonus to its AC. This decreases the speed of the monster to 20 feet.
Quickened (Movement Form). As a bonus action, the monster shifts into a large sphere, allowing it to move faster. It's speed increases to 80 feet. This decreases its Perception to +3, reducing its passive Perception to 13.
Reach (Fighting Form). As a bonus action, the monster shifts and moves bones inside of it, granting an extended reach to its pseudopod and any weapon attacks of 20 feet. This reduces the monster's AC by 2.
Actions
Multiattack. The monster makes three attacks with its pseudopods, though it can replace any number of those attacks with a weapon attack.
Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (4d10 + 8) bludgeoning damage. The target is subjected to the monster's Adhesive Trait ability.
Weapon. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: The monster uses any weapon that it absorbs, and deals an additional 14 (4d6) damage with it.
Legendary Actions
The monster can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The monster regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Attack. The monster uses one of its attacks.
Absorb (Costs 2 Actions). The monster absorbs a grappled, unconscious or dead creature into it. An absorbed creature is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the monster, and it takes 35 (10d6) acid damage at the start of each of the monster's turns.
If the monster takes 50 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the monster must succeed on a DC 24 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or expel all absorbed and living creatures, which fall prone in a space within 10 feet of the monster. If the monster dies, an absorbed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse by using 20 feet of movement, exiting prone.
If the creature is dead, or dies, while in the monster, the monster can use its weapons and equipment to augment its body and the monster immediately regains 11 (1d20) hit points once from the dead body.
Shift Form (Costs 3 Actions). The monster assumes a new shapechanger form.
Ferrali
This green blob is dotted with thousands of mouths that immediately latch on to anything it touches and can morph its skin to take on several different forms. It grabs anything it can, be it flesh or metal, and then adds that material into its own body. Magic hardly affects it, and regular weapons are completely useless.
