# Spells Granted by # the Guilds ### Based on the spells created by u/strangerthanur ## Azorious ### Awe of the Guild *4th level Enchantment* **Casting Time:** 1 action **Range** 30 Feet **Components:** V, S, M (Sigil of the Azorious Guild) **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 minute You may target a number of creatures up to your spellcasting modifier. Each of those creatures must succeed a Wisdom saving throw or they are stunned for the duration. The stun ends if the creature takes damage, and at the end of each stunned creature's turn it may attempt a Wisdom saving throw again, and on a successful save it is no longer stunned. ## Boros ### Lightning Helix *1st level Evocation* **Casting Time:** 1 action **Range:** 60 feet, self **Components:** V, S, M (angelic feather) **Duration:** Instantaneous Make a ranged spell attack against a target within range. On a hit the target takes 1d10 fire damage and 1d4 radiant damage. Flammable objects that aren't being worn or carried on that target ignite. You regain health equal to the radiant damage taken. ***At Higher Levels*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher the fire damage increases by 1d10 and the radiant damage increases by 1d4. If cast this spell at 5th level or higher you may choose to heal an ally within the spell's range, instead of yourself. \columnbreak ## Dimir ### Temporary Amnesia *5th level Abjuration* **Casting Time:** 1 reaction which you take when you see a creature within 60 feet of you casting a spell. **Range:** 60 feet **Components:** S **Duration:** Instantaneous You attempt to interrupt a creature in the process of casting a spell. If the creature is casting a spell of 6th level or lower, its spell fails and has no effect. If it is casting a spell of 7th level or higher, make an ability check using your spell casting ability. The DC equals 10 + the opposing spell's level. On a success, the creature's spell fails and has no effect. If the spell failed, the caster temporarily forgets their knowledge of that spell, and may not cast it for 1d10 days. ***At Higher Levels:*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher the interrupted spell has no effect if its level is less than or equal to the level of the spell slot you used. For every 2 levels you increase this spell by, if it's successful the target forgets that spell for an extra 1d10 days. ## Golgari ### Dark Blast *Enchantment cantrip* **Casting Time:** 1 action **Range:** 60 feet **Components:** V, S **Duration:** Instantaneous Choose a creature within range. That creature must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed throw, the next attack roll made by that creature is reduced by 1d4, and the next creature to attack the target rolls an extra 1d4 and adds it to their attack roll. This spell may target an additional creature within range when you reach 5th level (2 targets), 11th level (3), and 17th level (4). ## Gruul ### Brutal Might *2nd level Divination* **Casting Time:** 1 bonus action **Range:** 10 feet **Components:** V, S **Duration:** Instantaneous Choose 1 creature within range, and it makes a Constitution saving throw. If it fails, the next time this turn that you take the attack action, you may make an additional 2 attacks on that creature. \pagebreak ## Izzet ### Electrolyze *1st level Evocation* **Casting Time:** 1 action **Range:** 30 feet **Components:** V, S **Duration:** Instantaneous You summon a pair of electrical rays that target up to 2 creatures within range. For each ray, make a spell attack, dealing 2d4 on a hit. If you roll the same number on both d4s for either target, the electric energy leaps from the target to a different creature of your choice within 30 feet of it. Make a new attack roll against the new target, and make a new damage roll. You may only make one additional attack each turn this way, and each creature can only be targeted once for each casting of this spell. ***At Higher Levels:*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, increase the damage of each beam by 2d4 for each level. ## Orzhov ### Tithe *4th level Necromancy* **Casting Time:** 1 action **Range:** 30 feet **Components:** V, S, M (Sigil of the Orzhov) **Duration:** Instantaneous Choose a creature within range to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it moves towards you as far as it is able up to it's movement speed, and attempts to give you 8d8 of it's gold. If successful, it does not need to move, and instead drops half that much gold at it's feet. Either way, if the creature does not have that much money, it takes 1 damage per gold it is unable to give up. ***At Higher Levels:*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you may increase the gold given by 1d8 per level. ## Rakdos ### Raucous Cry *2nd level Necromancy* **Casting Time:** 1 Action **Range:** Self **Components:** V, S, M (Dagger) **Duration:** 1 round As you chant you draw your dagger across a part of your body. Take 1d6 damage, and until the beginning of your next turn, whenever damage is dealt within 30 feet of you, the target also takes that much necrotic damage. ***At Higher Levels:*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher you may increase the damage by 1d6 per level. \columnbreak ## Selesnya ### Notes in the Web *2nd level Abjuration* **Casting Time:** 1 reaction **Range:** 30 feet **Components:** V, S, M (a leaf from Vitu Ghazi) **Duration:** Instantaneous When an ally within 30 feet of you takes damage, any number of teammates within range my decide to assist it and relieve it's pain. Each willing creature within range rolls 1d6, reducing the damage taken by that much, and taking that much damage of the type it reduced. ## Simic ### Plasm Capture *5th level Abjuration* **Casting Time:** 1 reaction which you take when you see a creature within 60 feet of you casting a spell. **Range:** 60 feet **Components:** S **Duration:** Instantaneous You attempt to interrupt a creature in the process of casting a spell. If the creature is casting a spell of 5rd level or lower, its spell fails and has no effect. If it is casting a spell of 6th level or higher, make an ability check using your spell casting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a success, the creature's spell fails, has no effect, and you summon an ooze creature in an adjacent open space between you and the creature that casted the spell. If there is no space, summon it in an adjacent space to you. The Ooze has a CR equal to the level of the spell that was negated, and your DM will provide you with it's stats. It may take the form or shape of any creature with that creature rating or lower. ***At Higher Levels:*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher the interrupted spell has no effect if its level is less than or equal to the level of the spell slot you used. For every level you increase this spell by increase the CR of the summoned ooze by 1.
