## Arcane Traditions ### Ordelucian Magi When arcane magic was made legal within the Imperiam, a special order of magi was formed to look over other spellcasters and ensure the fair use of magic and spells. Imperial magi are trained to defend against spells and to disrupt other spellcasters ability to conjure spells. They also receive basic training on weaponry and armors. #### Imperial Discipline You gain proficiency with light armor and spears. You can also add the *detect magic* spell to your spellbook if it isn't there already. This spell always counts as prepared for you and doesn't count towards your maximum number of prepared spells. #### Magic Ward Starting at 2nd level, when you make a saving throw against the effects of a spell, you can use your reaction to grant yourself advantage on that saving throw.
Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again. #### Magic Bane When you reach 6th level you can add the *counterspell* and *dispel magic* spells to your spellbook if they are not there already. #### Imperial Ward Starting at 10th level, you gain advantage on all saving throws against magic. #### Seal Magic From 14th level and forward, whenever you succesfully cast the *counterspell* or *dispel magic* spells on a creature, you can have the target make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell DC. On a failed save, the target is unable to cast any spells other than cantrips until the end of its next turn.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again on the same creature until you finish a short or long rest.
