A coin that has been blessed by gods of luck, fortune and death alike, this item is thought to be able to alter fate itself, either horribly or miraculously.

Whenever you make an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw and this item is on your person, you may choose to flip a coin instead. If the result is heads, treat the roll as a critical success, otherwise, treat it as a critical failure, resulting in the worst possible outcome for the action attempted.

Once used in this way, this item crumbles to dust and fades into the Ethereal plane.
