## Roguish Archetype ### Savant You are an ocean of knowledge in matters both everyday and supernatural, making you a mainstay in a wide variety of situations. Savants use their genius level intellect to complement their adventuring expertise, and can assume roles such as researcher, archivist, instructor, or visionary. #### Cerebral Surge Starting at 3rd level, you learn to boost your mental capacity. You can use a bonus action to temporarily increase your Intelligence score by 2. The maximum score that your Intelligence can change to this way is 24. Your surge lasts for 1 minute. While your surge is active, you have resistance to psychic damage, and you can detect illusions and succeed on saving throws against them. When your surge ends, or when you use this feature again while a surge is active, you suffer one level of exhaustion. #### Formidable Intellect Starting at 3rd level, your sheer brainpower conquers all. You can add your Intelligence modifier to any ability check. If the ability check uses Intelligence, you can add your Intelligence modifier twice. Alternatively, when you use the Help action to aid an ally in making an ability check, they can add your Intelligence modifier to the roll. In either case, the decision to add the bonus can wait until after the roll, but must be made before learning the outcome. Once you have used this feature 5 times, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again. #### Pinpoint Weakness At 9th level, when you use the Help action to aid an ally in attacking a creature, your ally can add your Sneak Attack damage to one damage roll if they make a weapon attack. #### Magical Literacy Beginning at 13th level, while you're in your Cerebral Surge, you can read all writing. You can also use a spell scroll even if the spell isn't on your class's spell list. You don't need to make an ability check to cast the spell.

#### Expand the Mind When you reach 17th level, you can stretch your mind beyond the realm of normal possibility. When you use your Cerebral Surge, your Intelligence score changes to 30. Additionally, you can overwhelm your enemies with a glimpse of the inner cosmos. While you're in your Cerebral Surge, you can use an action to touch a creature, and that creature must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier) or be stunned for the duration of your surge. You must concentrate on this effect as if concentrating on a spell. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If the target's saving throw is successful, or if the effect ends on it, the target is immune to this effect for 24 hours.
