Martial Archetype: Planar Warrior
Handing some berk a blade doesn't make him a true warrior. Fighters with real talent, style, and skill are just as rare as any other type of blood.
Though they haven't got more than finger paints, the best fighters have a knack for survival. More important, they know when not to fight, and how to win a confrontation without ever lifting a sword.

Grinner
Starting at 3rd level, you've been around the planes enough to know the chant of most things you might encounter. You have advantage on skill checks to recall information about other planes and creatures from other planes. Whether this is something that has come naturally to you at 3rd level, or you have come into possession of something like a mimir, is up to you.
Cutter
Also at 3rd level, you are less clueless than the rest of your companions. You don't have a knack for magic, but you know how to ease your survival with the essentials of planar travel. You can cast the Detect Magic and Magic Weapon spells with this feature, without expending a spell slot.
Once you cast a spell using this feature you can’t cast it this way again until you finish a short or long rest.
Rounder
At 7th level, you've got the hang of moving about in the radically different planes. You ignore difficult terrain, and have advantage on saving throws from planar effects.
See the "Planar Travel" section in chapter 2 of the Dungeon Master's Guide for examples of planar effects.
At 10th level, you have enough experience fighting planar creatures to overcome magic resistance. When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, any ongoing spells or effects which improve their AC end, and they cannot gain advantage on saving throws against spells until the end of your next turn. At 15th level, You know the chant ful well. You have advantage on persuasion and insight checks when talking with Abberations, Celestials, Elementals, Fey, Fiends, and humanoids non-native to the prime material. At 18th level, You are a true planar warrior, your name is known from the Whistles to the Sixes, from the Gears to the Soup, and all along the Outlands. You are known as a body who does what they do better than any cutter on the planes. When you make an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw that allows you to add your proficiency bonus, you may double your proficiency bonus for that roll. You may choose to use this feature after your roll, but before you know the outcome. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest.Basher
