# Desert Elf
As a desert elf, you are accustomed to the difficult, unforgiving environment that is the desert. Navigating, hunting and foraging in inhospitable places is your forte. Your body has acclimated to harsh conditions and the urgent need to trade for survival forced you to be a person of the world.
Desert Elves usually reside in the deserts of the world but can also be seen in other environments most other people don’t consider livable, such as dense forests or barren tundra, and they rarely go inside cities. They are slightly thinner and shorter than most elves but most are very athletic. Desert Elves are a warm people. They assume well and, if shown good intentions, will treat a guest as a family member. But if you slight them, you will be ousted and shamed and all Desert Elves will hear of your deeds. If you injure or even kill one of them, there will be no place for you to hide as the tribe will hunt you down and, probably, your entire family as retribution.
