Some druids don't subscribe to the idea that intelligent races are fundamentally different from animals. Druids of the Wild channel their own ferocity and bolster it by adapting aspects of beasts. They are ferocious warriors of nature and should anyone try to civilize their territory they would regret dearly regret it.
**Note for DMs:** This subclass is not intended for multiclassing, should you allow a player to multiclass with this subclass, you are risking balance issues. ## Selfshape At 2nd level, you learn how to bolster your own body and mind instead of transforming it entirely. As a bonus action you can expend one of your Wildshape uses and gain of the following benefits. You can't choose the same benefit twice and the benefits last until you finish a short or a long rest. #### Boar's resilience You become resilient like a boar able to shrug off any hit. You gain a +1 bonus to your AC and bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage that you take from nonmagical weapons is reduced by an amout equal to your proficiency modifier. #### Owl's wisdom Your mind is calm like that of an owl observing its prey. You can add your wisdom modifier to any constitution saving throw made to maintain concentration on a spell. #### Tiger's ferocity Your attacks are deadly like a tiger's. Your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 and you can roll one additional weapon damage die when determining the extra damage for a critical hit with a melee weapon attack. #### Deer's swiftness Your speed and agility match a deer zipping between trees. Your walking speed increases by 10 feet and opportunity attacks against you are made with disadvantage. #### Panther's stealh You are silent as a panther stalking its prey. Any Dexterity (Stealth) checks you make are made with advantage and you gaindark vision with a range of 90 ft. ## Improved Shillelagh Starting at 2nd, you learn the Shillelagh cantrip unless you already know it and it doesn't count against your number of known cantrips. Whenever you cast Shillelagh, you can target any melee weapon from the druid weapon proficiencies list, the duration is increased to 24 hours and you can use the weapon as your spellcasting focus. ## Extra attack Beginning at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. ## Part Human, Part Beast At 10th level, your human and beastial sides become more intertwined. Choose one Selfshape benefit, you gain this benefit permanently and can't choose it anymore when using your Selfshape feature. ## Apex Predator At 14th level, you gain the ability to transform into the ultimate amalgam of beasts. As an action, you can transform, growing scaly skin, beastial muscles, wings and claws for 1 minute. You choose whether your equipment falls to the ground in your space or merges into your new form. While transformed, you gain the following benefits: * You dexterity and strength scores are set to 20. * Your AC equals 13 + your Dexterity modifier. * You gain resistance to all damage. * You gain a flight speed of 30 ft. * Your hands become natural weapons with the light property, you are proficient with them and they do 1d12 magical slashing damage. * When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack. * You are immune to being frightened or charmed.
