# Ritual Familiar Summoning ## The Ritual Draw a circle in the center of the ritual area. Be sure to leave room to draw the needed symbols between the line of the circle and the brazier. Place the brazier in the center of this circle. ### Start the Outer Circle Use the charcoal to begin to write the symbols for the following elements in order: fire, air, water, and earth. Place and lite the incense in the brazier. ### Start the Inner Circle Use the charcoal to begin to write the symbols for the Three Principles: * Draw Sulfur Between earth and fire. * Draw Mercury between the elements air and fire. * Draw Salt between earth and water * Place the charcoal back in the brazier. Remove a small piece of incense and standing in front of Air, facing away, chant *"Air, fire, water, earth.”* Turn toward the circle and finish: *“Cleanse, dismiss, dispel."* Repeat in front of the other elements the order of the chant. I.e. When in front of fire, you would chant: *"Fire, water, earth, air”*. Return incense to brazier. \columnbreak ## The Summoning Recite the following incantation while adding the herbs:
