Circle of the Stars

Circle Spells

At 2nd level, you learn the Sacred Flame cantrip. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Circle of Stars Spells table. Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn't appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

Druid Level Circle Spells
3rd Enhance Ability, Spiritual Weapon
5th Beacon of Hope, Fly
7th Death Ward, Guardian of Faith
9th Dawn, Holy Weapon

Star Charges

Starting at 2nd level, you have a pool of energy represented by a number of d6s equal to your druid level. When you roll damage for a spell, you can increase that damage by spending dice from the pool. You can spend a number of dice equal to half your druid level or less. Roll the spent dice and add them to the damage. If you kill one or more hostile creatures with a spell augmented in this way, you or an ally of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you gains 2 temporary hit points per die spent. You regain the expended dice when you finish a long rest.

Dawn Guard

At 6th level, when you take damage you can use your reaction to expend a number of star charge dice up to half your druid level to reduce that damage. Roll the spent dice and subtract them from the damage you would have taken.

Lightbringer

At 10th level, you gain resistance to necrotic and radiant damage. You also gain the ability to cast the spell Daylight once per day without using a spell slot or material components.

Celestial Transformation

At 14th level, you can expend two uses of Wild Shape at the same time to transform into a Celestial form. While in this form you gain the following benefits:

  • You gain temporary hit points equal to your Druid Level x5.
  • You can concentrate on two spells at the same time.
  • You do not need to roll to maintain concentration on a spell.

This transformation lasts for your Druid Level minutes or if you lose your temporary hit points.
