Spider Climb. The spiderwolf can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Web Sense. While in contact with a web, the spiderwolf knows the exact location of any other creature in contact with the same web.

Web Walker. The spiderwolf ignores movement restrictions caused by webbing.

Keen Hearing and Smell. The spiderwolf has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Pack Tactics. The spiderwolf has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the wolf's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw, taking 9 (2d8) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.

Caustic Webbing (Recharge 4–6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is restrained by webbing. During this time, any creature that is restrained in the web for the first time on its turn or starts its turn there takes 9 (2d8) acid damage . As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 12 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10; hp 10; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to acid, bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).

Spiderwolf

For most, an encounter with a spiderweb, especially a giant spiderweb, is reason enough to sprint the other way. However, should the web they’ve encountered belong to a Spiderwolf pack, escaping becomes a dream when compared to their current inescapable nightmare.

Hordes of Horrors. Unlike most spiders, spiderwolves are far from solitary creatures. Spiderwolves thrive in small packs which hunt as a unit. A Spiderwolf’s prey belongs to its allies just as much as it belongs to the one that killed it.

Coordinated Webs. Spiderwolf packs spin elaborate,    intertwined webs, perfected to capture and incapacitate their     prey. Many of these webs include traps triggered by                   contact with prey or by any attempts to cut the webs,                       and can include heavy objects or nets of acidic                          webbing that descend from the ceiling upon                                 activation.

Spiderwolf Origins. The Spiderwolf, formally                    known as Araneae Lycos, is ironically a creature with                  no true relations to either lycans or arachnids, only in                  resemblance. Originally thought to have been created                     as hounds of Lolth, further studies into Drow culture      have proven this to be a misconception held by surface dwellers. Current scholars speculate that these creatures originated from the plane Carceri, specifically the layer of Cathrys or the Scarlet Jungle. Accidentally brought over to the Material Plane by an insane mage, these monstrosities now     thrive at the top of the food chain.
