Oath of Rebellion

The Oath of rebellion binds you to a cause. You revolt against authority wherever it tries to use it's influence to oppress the people. You take a stand and don't move until your goal is fulfilled.

Tenets of Rebellion

Fight Against Tyranny. Do not turn your back on people being oppressed by despots. You stand with them and fight for their freedom.

Lift the People. Give hope to others in the struggle. Be the beacon of their hope.

Remember the Fallen. Never forget those who lose their lives for the cause. Their spirit will power you throught to victory.

Build on Victory. Every small win is a step in your path to achieving your goals. Cherish them and press the advantage.

Demand Equality. Every person in this world deserves to be treated with respect. Step in when someone's rights are being ignored.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Lambaste Authority. As an action, choose one creature you can see. For 1 minute, all attacks against that creature add 1d4 to the roll.

Ignite the Crowd. As an action, you can fire up any number of creatures within 30ft of you. Each creature gains advantage on it's next attack roll, ability check or saving throw.

Oath Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

3rd Hellish Rebuke, Wrathful Smite
5th Hold Person, Knock
9th Crusader's Mantle, Fear
13th Banishment, Death Ward
17th Hold Monster, Wall of Force

Aura of Defiance

Starting at 7th level, you and those around you can push back against their attackers. You and friendly creatures within 10ft of you can use their reaction to reduce the damage of one attack by a number equal to Half your Paladin level.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Protector of the People

Starting at 15th level, you are always present for your comrades. You can use 5ft of movement to teleport to a willing creature within 30ft of you.

Spirit of Revolution

Starting at 20th level, you become the living embodiment of your cause. As an action, you gain the following properties for 1 minute.

  • Each of your attacks deal an extra 2d6 radiant damage. In addition, all damage done by you is radiant damage.
  • Any ally within 30ft of you cannot have their speed reduced.
  • When you attack the same creature more than once, it becomes frightened of you.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
