Shadow Hunter
These reclusive, wily jungle trolls are considered to be the highest authority within their respective warbands. They are masters of voodoo magics who can use their spirit-powers to both heal their allies and place curses upon their hapless enemies.
Restriction: Trolls Only
Only trolls can choose shadow hunter hunter archetype. In the world of Warcraft, trolls are unwilling to share their knowledge of voodoo with outsiders.
Student of Loas
Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with warglaives. They count as finesse weapons to you.
Additionally, you gain proficiency in the Religion skill if you don't already have it.
Shadow Magic
Also at 3rd level,, you augment your hunting prowess with the ability to cast spells.
Cantrips. You learn two cantrips of your choice from shadow hunter spell list. You learn an additional shadow hunter cantrip at 10th level.
Spell Slots. The Shadow Hunter Spellcasting table shows how how many spell slots you have. The table also shows what the level of those slots are; all of your spell slots are the same level. To cast one of these spells of 1st level or higher, you must expend a spell slot. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a short or long rest.
For example, when you are 7th level, you have two 2nd-level spell slots. To cast the 1st-level spell bane, you must spend a spell slot, and you cast it as a 2nd-level spell.
Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher. The Spells Known Column of the Shadow Hunter Spellcasting table shows how many spells you know. You can choose each 1st spell of 1st level or higher from the shadow hunter spell list. A spell you choose must be of a level no higher than what's shown in the table's Slot Level column for your level. When you reach 16th level, for example, you learn a new spell, which can be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd level.
Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the spells you know and replace it with another spell from the spell list, which also must be of a level for which you have spell slots.
Spellcasting Ability. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your shadow hunter spells, so you use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for and when making an attack roll
with a shadow hunter spell.
Spell Save DC

Spellcasting Focus. You can use rush'kah, a special ceremonial mask, as an spellcasting focus for your spells.

Lone Wolf: Dead Eye
Also at 3rd level, you can choose to not tame a beast and instead focus on your own prowess. When you do not have the loyalty of a beast companion, you add half your proficiency bonus to your weapon damage rolls.
Mark of Loa
Starting at 5th level, when you cast a spell targeting the creature that is marked with Hunter's Mark, you can expend a focus die to add it to the spell's attack roll or its saving throw difficulty class for that creature.
Lone Wolf: Voodoo Magic
Also at 5th level, when you do not have the loyalty of a beast companion you gain Voodoo Magic feature, and when you use your action to cast a cantrip, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action.
Voodoo Ambush
Beginning at 7th level, if you are hidden from a creature when you cast a spell on it, the creature has disadvantage on any saving throw it makes against the spell this turn.
Serpent Ward
Upon reaching 11th level, you craft special totems to protect you from harm.
When a creature you can see hits you with a spell that deals damage, you can as a reaction summon a serpent ward to protect you. You can choose to use this feature before or after the roll, but before any effects of the roll are applied. The serpent ward takes the spell damage instead of you, and then it spits it back against the caster. The creature must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Spell Save DC. On failure they take half the damage the ward suffered as fire damage. The serpent ward vanishes after that.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Big Bad Voodoo
At 15th level, choose one 5th level spell from shadow hunter spell list as your big bad voodoo.
You can cast your big bad voodoo spell once without expending a spell slot. You must finish a long rest before you can do so again.
